List of GFTI colleges in India under JEE Main


There are a total of 32 GFTIs in India. These institutes f ollow similar
academic and admission systems as that of NITs and IIITs. Joint Seat
Allocation Authority (JoSAA) conducts the admission process f or all the
GFTI colleges. Bef ore 2016, the admissions to GFTIs are done based on
students’ ranks in the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main. GFTI colleges
under JEE Mains of f er a total of 6,078 seats f or admission of students to

Fee Structure of GFTI Colleges


The f ee structure of all the Government Funded Technical Institutes
(GFTIs) is available on the of f icial website of the Central Seat Allocation
Board (CSAB).

The f ee structures dif f er among these institutes. In some of the colleges


the f ees have to be paid semester-wise, while in a f ew, the f ee is payable
annually. There are institute f ees, transport f ees, hostel and mess f ees
to be paid every semester or year. There is also one-time advance and
caution money, which are ref undable.
