I then reflect relevance of professional standards in the

continued professional growth and improvement of


teachers is recognized in the Philippine Professional
Standards for Teachers (PPST)lectures in this hybrid
seminar, which is based on the concept of lifelong
learning. It is dedicated to assisting teachers and
recognizing the overwhelming evidence that effective
teachers are critical to improving student achievement.
And so ,quality teaching is necessary for quality learning.
As a result, increasing teacher quality is critical for long-
term and sustainable nation building. The PPST will also
serve as the foundation for all teacher learning and
development programs, ensuring that instructors are
fully prepared to administer all curriculum initiatives. It
can also be used to recruit and advance teachers. This set
of criteria must be followed in all teacher performance
evaluations.
Classroom teacher should then, recognize the
importance of topic knowledge mastery and its
interconnection within and across curriculum areas, as
well as a solid and critical understanding of the
application of teaching and learning theories and
concepts.
Encourage learner responsibility and achievement by
providing safe, secure, fair, and supportive learning
environments. Create learning environments that are
sensitive to learner diversity. plan and design learning
opportunities with learners' various characteristics and
experiences in mind. They engage with the requirements
of national and local curricula. They translate curricular
knowledge into learner-relevant learning activities that
are based on effective teaching and learning methods.
Using a variety of assessment instruments and strategies,
monitor, evaluate, document, and report on learners'
needs, progress, and accomplishment. establishing
school-community links with the goal of improving the
learning environment and involving the community in
the educational process Maintain qualities that
contribute to the dignity of teaching, such as a caring
attitude, respect, and honesty, by prioritizing personal
growth and professional development and
demonstrating a high personal regard for the profession.
