Go To The Rowe Percussion Band
GREETINGS! Welcome to all the returning & incoming band students joining the Mighty
Warrior Band! We hope that you will have a great summer and will be looking forward to
having an AMAZING 2024-25 school year! CONGRATULATIONS on ALL of your
accomplishments this past year and are looking forward to helping you grow, improve, and
become the absolute BEST versions of yourselves!!!
SUMMER BAND: ALL BAND STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND SUMMER
BAND CAMP. If you are not present, you will fall behind on marching/playing fundamentals
and will definitely hurt your chances of securing a spot on the field for the show. This applies to
all band students, regardless of grade level or experience. If you have a summer job, please make
arrangements now so that you don’t miss any of our rehearsals. Also, please notice the dates on
the attached calendar and make doctor/dentist appointments as well as party/quinceañeras
during non- conflicting dates.
PIGSKIN MARCHING SHOW: Our marching show for next year is called “PERSEPHONE”.
It will have a combination of great classical music, along with some fantastic storytelling. We
cannot wait to bring this production to life! All students will receive the Pigskin show music, in
addition to the Fight Song, Alma Mater, Indian Fill & other stand tunes. Practice as much of the
music as possible. If you don’t understand something, do not worry. We will help you with the
music during summer band. We are expecting approximately 200 students in the Rowe Band this
upcoming season.
Summer Band is a NECESSITY for our program to succeed! Please check with friends in the
band and remind each other about the scheduled start dates and times. The end of the first 6
weeks is September 27th, 2024 . Students must pass the 6 weeks in order to participate at
Pigskin and football games during the 2nd 6 weeks. Please emphasize the importance of your
child making it a habit that they pass their classes every 6 weeks.

or you can scan the following QR Code:
1. We have a band fee for the upcoming year. The fee is $250 for freshmen and $200 for
sophomores, juniors, and seniors. The extra $50 in the freshmen fee will be used for
the purchase of your marching shoes. The remaining fees will be used for band shirts (2),
food, and any other operating expenses that are not covered by the district. It is a one-
time fee, and payments can be arranged. If you are a sophomore, junior, or senior and
need a new pair of shoes, please add the extra $50 to your band fees.
2. If you are using a school instrument, you will still be responsible for the $40
maintenance fee. If you would like to check out an instrument for the summer, we must
have an Instrument Maintenance Contract on file for you before we let you take an
instrument for the summer.
3. We are planning on having an out-of-state trip in the 24-25 school year. We are
currently looking at traveling to Florida and visiting Disney, Universal Studios, and
more. We will send along more information as the trip gets closer. Seating will be
limited for the trip.
4. Most importantly, please make sure that you spend some time this summer preparing for
the upcoming marching season. Make sure to spend a little bit of time in the sun so that it
is not a shock to your body. Also, practice the habit of drinking water, as this is one of
the best ways to prepare yourself for the marching season.
