6. Differentiate Physical and chemical microbial control
Course Description
The principal activities and properties of Microorganisms including bacteria, viruses, algae,
fungi and protozoa; Microbial classification, nutrition, physiology and metabolism; Micro-
organisms in industrial fermentation, sanitation, public health and agriculture; Culturing bacteria
and fungi; Economic importance of Microorganisms. Practical and Field visits.
