Back to Freedom Changelog:

0.33

- 1 new in-game day.


- 16 new scenes.
- 166 new clips.
- Three new pregnancies possible.
- Added an icon in the upper left corner of each character's avatar on the stats
screen to indicate if the character is pregnant.
- Added heart icons to some dialogues during scenes. The feature is enabled by
default, but you can disable it in the options menu. For now, the hearts icons can
be seen in scenes from days 30 to 37.
- Made massive changes in variables to make the code cleaner. Over 1300 variables
were eliminated.
Note: As was widely reported before launch, these changes may affect old saves made
in the middle of the day. It is highly recommended that you only load old saves
made during the MC's sleep or right after he wakes up in story mode. From day 37,
saves can be made at any point of the day and loaded without issues. Also, if you
are starting a new game, you can save and load at any point as usual.
Note2: Since this change modified variables in almost every part of the game, there
may be some bugs. Please report any bugs you find.
- Replaced the timed macro while typing during work with a video.
- Fixed a bug with the scope cursor during some sniper quests.
- Made some quality-of-life changes in the sandbox mode:
* The navigation system is now based on maps instead of image links. There's a map
for the city and another one for the house.
* On the map, in addition to navigating to any place in the game easily, there's
also a clock icon to advance time at any moment.
* You no longer have to pay weekly bills.
* Replaced most of the timed events with instant versions of the same events like
bathing, watching movies, reading books, and others.
* Moved the phone and schedule links from the left sidebar to the main screen on
the sandbox mode. This will leave the sidebar cleaner and make it easier for
players to access the sandbox-only features when they really need it.
Note: Although there are no new content additions to the sandbox mode, I hope these
changes will make this mode smoother for players who enjoy it.

0.32

- 10 new scenes.
- 111 new clips.
- Added a new color for some female side characters' dialog. Now we have three
colors like the men's ones.
- Added a one-time-use free cheat button on the cheats page. The free cheat will
give players +3 to all stats plus $500.
Note: Some free players have complained that some stat requirements are too high.
While all of the game’s requirements are achievable for free players, I understand
that it can be frustrating to miss out on certain routes because of a few bad
choices. So I've chosen to give everyone a free cheat option instead of lowering
the requirements. Hopefully, this will make the beginning of the game smoother for
some players without diminishing the importance of supporter-exclusive cheats,
which allow them to freely increase or decrease their stats at any point in the
game and choose the route that suits them best.
- Added a Corruption Guide to the official game guide for supporters.
Note: This is a long-requested feature from supporters that I finally had time to
implement. Since I've added a quality-of-life improvement for free players (free
cheat) it's only fair that my supporters get an improvement of equal value. Hope
everyone will be happy.
- Fixed a minor bug that won't remove anal gel from inventory when used in some
scenes. If you find more item bugs, please report them.

0.31

- Made a small change at the very beginning of the game to better reflect the
events of day 35.
- Fixed a minor bug when you choose to give the diamond earrings and necklace to

blocking players to unlock two of her scenes on day 34.

- Fixed a bug that led to Martina's second scene on day 32 when it shouldn't have.
- Fixed a bug on day 29 that wouldn't unequip the car in use after selling it to
the mechanic if it was damaged by Emily.
- Fixed Sarah's scene 3 not being properly unlocked in the gallery for some
players.
- Fixed a bug on day 30 that changed the choice of company security equipment to
the balanced one even if the player had previously chosen another quote.
Note: You need to load a save before work on day 30 to fix it.

- Slightly changed Erica's first meeting to make it easier to get her first scene.
- Slightly changed the fighting minigame. Now Counter and Super Counter no longer
cause you damage, making these options more viable during combat and eliminating
the possibility of a draw as a result of the fight.
- Since some players still don't understand the progressive hint system in the air
ducts on day 18, I added a skip button after 5 failures (the same amount needed to
see the complete path in the tooltip).
- Added 13 badass avatar choices for the Supreme Master tier, in addition to the
previously existing possibility of a commissioned avatar.
- Changed the design of the in-game Guide. Now you have image links leading to
individual pages, just like in the gallery.
- More behind-the-scenes changes to make the code cleaner.

0.28

- 1 new in-game day.


- 6 new scenes.
- 81 new clips.
- Another pregnancy possible.
- Improved the avatar system in dialog boxes. Before this change, most men's dialog
boxes used a generic silhouette image. Now, most dialog boxes in the game use the
characters' images.
- Added some avatar options to choose from at the beginning of the game for the
main char. You can also change your avatar at any time in the options menu now.
Note: If you load an old save, you won't see any images in your dialog box, since
the variable that defines the avatar is a new feature. To fix this, just open the
options menu and choose your avatar.
- Replaced some old images with new ones like Joseph, Junior, the security team,
the main gun, working out at the gym, and a few more.
- Changes were made on days 18, 29, and 31 to eliminate a possible inconsistency in
Emily's story in case you chose Rachel's route on day 18.
- Fixed the new progressive hint system in the ventilation ducts route on day 18.
Also, the alternate route to Willis's secret was slightly changed.
- Fixed a bug preventing some players from continuing after Jillian's office scene
on day 12.
- Fixed a few minor bugs and also some typos and grammar errors reported by
players.
- Day 15 texts revised.
Note: This work started many versions ago, but I stopped because of the lack of
time. If you find grammar errors and spelling mistakes on any in-game day, please
report them.
- Improved the code for some parts of the game that grants stats from days 1 to 9
to standardize them like the rest of the game.

0.27

- Added a progressive hint system to the ventilation ducts route on day 18 and
Nina's massage route on day 22. Now for each failure in these events, you will see
a tooltip with a more advanced tip until you have the complete solution.

gallery. Note: You need to redo the scenes in the story mode to make it work.
- Fixed an infinite loop in Kelsi's scene 1 in the gallery.

Note: This work started many versions ago, but I stopped because of the lack of
time. If you find grammar errors and spelling mistakes on any in-game day, please

0.26

- Changed the trigger for Lulu service on sandbox mode to allow the unlock-gallery
cheat (tier 3 or higher) to unlock Lulu.
- Added names on the character stats screen to identify them more easily.
- Some interactive scenes before day 13 didn't generate stats or generated fewer
stats than the usual +1 love +1 lust. Now, most interactive scenes grant at least
one love point and one lust point.
- The main characters' interactive scenes now generate a love point and a lust
point whenever you manage to make them climax three times. Note: All interactive
scenes in the story have been adapted to this new mechanic (except side characters'
scenes since they don't have stats). Note2: You will see the stat gain notification
during the third climax, but stat points will be granted only at the end of the
scene.
- Rebalanced the number of climax points granted in each position of interactive
scenes to make it easier to reach three climaxes and take advantage of the new
mechanic.
- Added stats points in interactive scenes that weren't granting them before.
- Revised and improved texts on all interactive scenes from days 1 to 24 to bring
them to the same quality standard as the most recent ones. Note: Some were heavily
changed, while others had minor changes since they were good enough.
- Fixed a minor, long-standing bug that caused some cumshot videos of some
interactive scenes to be smaller than intended.
- Made some behind-the-scenes changes in some codes to make them cleaner.

0.25

- Sandbox update.
- Added 39 more story scenes in the sandbox mode. Note: The sandbox mode now has
most of the relevant content of the story mode. There are around a hundred scenes
and lots of events, with many more planned.
- 4 new sandbox-exclusive scenes (Lana - 1, Alex - 2, Lulu - 1).
- 7 new locations available.
- Improved the tooltip system to give more accurate information throughout the
story. Note: This is a long-requested quality-of-life change. I had a lot of work
to change every tooltip in the game to give accurate information to the player. I
hope this improves the experience for everyone. If you find any tooltips warning
you about the need to have made a different story choice, please let me know, and I
will change it to the new standard.
- Increased the maximum number of friendship points required with Jason to unlock
Abigail scenes 6, 7, and 8 to make then easier to get.
- Fixed Alex's first scene and Adriana's last scene not being properly unlocked in
the gallery. Note: You need to redo the scenes in the story mode to make it work.

0.24

- Jillian's scene in the office on day 12 was rebalanced to make the optional scene

- Added a special event at the start of the day that allows the player to lose all
corruption points or maximize the corruption. Note: This is a midgame chance to
change routes without the need for cheats.
- Added instructions on how to proceed in the bridge sniper mission. Also, a skip
button has been added for all parts of the sniper mission. Note: Keep in mind that
when you use the skip button, the game will consider that you chose to spare the
enemies' lives by shooting their legs. So, if you want the maximum amount of
corruption and Reed's respect, you will need to manually shoot enemies.
- You can now activate or deactivate mod on the online version by typing "mod on"
or "mod off" without quotes in the cheat password textbox.
- Stat gain notifications are now animated with a glowing effect to visualize them
better. Note: If you find any notifications still using the old standard, please
report them.
- Fixed a bug preventing the gallery unlock for Nia's third scene. Note: You need
to redo the scene to properly unlock it in the gallery.

0.21

- A new mob mission.
- Another pregnancy possible.
- Reduced the maximum amount of fails required in most minigames before the Autowin
button becomes available. Now after failing twice, the Autowin button will become
available in minigames like fighting, dancing, and shooting.
- Added an Autowin cheat button for most of the minigames in the cheats area (only
available for $5 supporters and higher). Note: Please report if you find any bugs
in this new feature.
- Added a new stats button where the corruption indicator used to be in the left
sidebar. By clicking on this button, you can now easily check all the stats of all
characters in the game without having to access each gallery.
- Increased the main character's standard weekly wage from $1000 to $1500. If you
had a raise before, the new weekly wage is $2000 (increased from $1500). Note: This
change is only for story mode.

0.20

- Sandbox update.
- 13 more story scenes were adapted and added to the sandbox mode.
- 4 new sandbox-exclusive scenes (Haley - 2, Amirah - 1, Lifeguards - 1).
- 9 new sandbox-exclusive characters.
- 2 new districts and 5 new locations (Abigail's house, Haley's House, Park, Beach,
and Beach Club).
- Added an event schedule in the left sidebar to help players know where to find
the events by day.
- Moved some tooltips to improve the layout of links in sandbox mode and removed
others, as they became unnecessary with the addition of the event schedule.
- New design of stores and inventory buttons on the left sidebar, as well as a
slight change to the menu and in-game buttons.
- Reduced the time spent on many events in the sandbox mode.
- Increased maximum number of save slots from 8 to 15.
- Fixed a bug introduced in the last version that prevented players from getting
their money back from Romi at the end of her first scene if the requirements are
met.

0.17

- Added the new sandbox mode in the game. The sandbox mode will be available at the
end of day 23. From that point on, you can access it through a new link in the left
sidebar menu at any time.
- Added 44 story scenes in the sandbox mode.
Note 1: The sandbox mode has been requested by many players for some time now. The
goal is to give players something more to do between updates. However, keep in mind
that the sandbox mode is not and will never become the main focus of the game (at
least not until the end of the main story). Even so, this mode will have many
additions over the course of updates. For now, we only have scenes already present
in the story mode (not all of them yet) with the necessary text adaptations and
some changes in some events. But the idea is to have many exclusive scenes and
characters in this mode.
Note 2: The sandbox mode is not like a sandbox-exclusive game, where there is
usually a grind of many stats to advance in events. Instead, I chose to let the
player replay events already unlocked in story mode. Think of sandbox mode as a
much more interactive gallery, where you can replay whole events and not just the
resulting scene from them.
Note 3: Money, stats, items, and cars will be shared between the two modes.
However, you will not be able to increase stats in sandbox mode (not without using
cheats), but you will be able to earn and spend money and items in sandbox mode.
You can make money in some ways, such as betting at the casino on weekends at
night, participating in Megan's show, and working. Unlike the story mode, the
amount of money earned will be proportional to how much you worked throughout the
week. You can work twice a day on weekdays. Each time you do this, you'll earn
$100. Money earned from work can be collected at the end of the working day. If you
don't collect the money, you won't lose it, and you can accumulate as many days as
you want before collecting it (as long as you don't leave the sandbox mode - once
you leave, non collected money is gone).
Note 4: Just like in story mode, every Friday you will have to pay the weekly
bills. The total to be paid per week is $620. Keep in mind that you will not be
able to continue in sandbox mode until you pay the weekly bills. Remember to save
money for that.
Note 5: The gallery will not be available in sandbox mode, as too many variables
are shared and this could cause bugs. Also, whenever you enter sandbox mode, you
will start in front of your house on Monday morning. When you exit sandbox mode
(link available only in front of your house), you will return to story mode exactly
where you left off before entering sandbox mode.
Note 6: This is just the first version of the sandbox mode and I ask you all to be
patient since this possibly will have some bugs (please report all you find). Also,
I know there is still a lot to improve and add like new locations, characters'
homes, more events, and much more. Constructive feedback is welcome.
- Added an Autowin button in every fighting minigame after losing the same fight
three times. The same mechanic is already present in the dancing and shooting
minigames.
Note 1: In the semifinals of the tournament, you can only auto-win the minigame
with more than 85% life to unlock Lyia's scene if you are NOT tired. Otherwise, you
will still have the auto-win button, but with life below 85%.
Note 2: In the tournament final, you can only auto-win the minigame and get the car
as a prize if you are NOT tired, since this fight is not meant to be won if you are
tired.
- Added a few missing tooltips reported by players.
- Fixed a few grammar errors reported by players.
- Fixed Adriana's scene displaying video tearing on some devices.
- Fixed a bug in the casino roulette minigame that was happening when the number 0
was drawn.
Note: I could have easily fixed the bug and still kept the number 0 as drawable.
But since many roulette wheels around the world do not use the number 0, I chose to
remove it from the minigame, leaving the roulette wheel with 36 possible numbers.
- Changed the beach event with Gina on day 20 so that Erica can show up if you're
using any car available in the car store. Prior to this change, Erica would only
show up if you were using the most expensive car. You still need a buyable car and
do well on her quiz to be invited to races in the future.
Note: The idea behind this change, as well as the fight tournament prize car in the
last update, is to provide players who don't have access to money cheat a way to
participate in Erica's race events in the future.

0.16

- 1 new in-game day.

- 2 new side characters.
- A new fighting tournament event.
- You can no longer use the back button during fights. There is a warning about
this change before each fight and a hint to save your game before joining the
fight.
Note 1: The back button is not intended to bypass mechanics as a form of cheating.
The back button is there to review some recent text or choose another recent route.
Note 2: Nothing prevents the player from saving during fights. I hope everyone
understands the change.
- To counterbalance this change, most of the fights were rebalanced to make it
slightly easier.
- From this version onwards, some important corruption and non-corruption routes
will be exclusive according to corruption levels. For example, in a specific event
in the current version, if you have a certain amount of corruption points, you'll
only be able to choose the corruption route. If you have fewer than needed
corruption points, you will only be able to choose the non-corruption route.
Note 1: My goal from the beginning was to make the players not feel like they have
a better route to take. Almost every route has both good and bad consequences. Most
stat-affecting decisions (including corruption) will continue to be freely chosen.
This is necessary to build up stats. But the idea is that some important decisions
are stat-exclusive. Until now, the player who invested in the corruption route had
a clear advantage because he could choose both the corruption route and the non-
corruption route, while the player who invested in the non-corruption route only
had the non-corruption route available. This change is to try to balance corruption
and non-corruption routes. And this will become more evident in the future.
Note 2: Modified an important Nina event decision from the last version to reflect
this change. Your saves won't be affected, but if you play the event again, you'll
notice that only one route will be available according to your corruption when you
choose to approach her.
- Fixed a bug that prevented the game from remembering some player decisions,
blocking some options in the gallery after restarting the game. For example, when
you get home early on the first day, you get Angela's full scene as a reward.
However, when restarting the game to try other routes, the gallery couldn't
remember this decision, and consequently, the scene was incomplete when trying to
revisit it.
Note: Keep in mind that this change will only take effect by restarting the game
and revisiting needed events.

0.15

- Made a change to the gallery unlock cheat (for $10+ supporters) that unlocks all
options for interactive scenes, even when the player depends on some specific
decision in the story, items, or anything. Prior to this change, some scenes were
unlocked, but not all options were available if the player hadn't unlocked them in
the story.
Note: Stat dependent options will still be locked. To unlock them, you just need to
change the stats in the cheats menu.
- Added tooltips on some occasions where they were missing.
Note: If you find more inactive options without tooltips, please report them and I
will add them.
- Added a day counter next to the weekday in the sidebar.
Note: If you load a save, you'll only notice this change after sleeping.
- Changed the code of all interactive scenes to a cleaner, more standardized
version in preparation for what I have planned for the near future.
Note: Since I didn't have time to test all the modified scenes, some bugs may have
gone unnoticed. Please report any bugs found in the interactive scenes, either in
the story or in the gallery (ignore this request if you have edited your saves or
programming in any way, as this is very likely to cause bugs).

Note: This work started in the version 0.13 and aims to minimize awkward sentences

Note 1: The story has not been changed, except for minor details. My goal here is
to minimize awkward sentences as best I can. Some answer options have been changed,
some text removed, some text added, and many sentences redone. This work will
continue in the next versions. I intend to review the texts from days 1 to 12.
Note 2: Keep in mind that it still won't be perfect. As some of you may know, I'm
not a native speaker but I'm doing my best to make the experience more pleasant.

0.12

- The preview image of non-available scenes in the gallery was changed.
- Introduced a hint system. When the player has an unavailable option or when he is
in some part of the story where he could see a different situation, an icon with a
question mark will appear. When hovering the mouse over the icon, a tooltip will
appear giving the player a hint.
Note 1: This system was highly requested by many players. However, I did it in a
way that doesn't make the guide obsolete. The system is just to give the player a
hint of what it would take to unlock the unavailable option, but will not give
precise details. For that, you still need the guide. As an example, if you need a
different car to unlock some option, the tip will tell you that you need a
different car, but not which car. I believe this is enough to guide the player
without handing over everything.
Note 2: For now, the system is available from day 11 onwards. In the next update,
it will be implemented in the remaining days and in the gallery.

clicking. If that's not enough, you'll get a skip button with a winning result
after failing the minigame three times.
- The slot machine minigame has also been tweaked. You have now double the odds of
winning the first prize. Triple the odds of winning the second prize. And an
average 50% increase in the odds of winning the smaller prizes. This will make it
easier to unlock Shalina's event and to make some money for those who don't have
money cheats.

- New inventory. As some items are now not sold in the online store, it made no
sense to keep the online store interface integrated with the inventory. So we now
have an independent inventory. It can be accessed from the chest icon next to the
online store in the sidebar.

- New gallery interface. Character info and stats have been integrated into the
gallery in a new interface. Now when you open each character's gallery, you'll see
all the information about that character along with their scenes, in addition to a
unique background for each character. No longer needed, the characters menu was
eliminated.
- New cheats menu interface.
- All the changes in the interfaces of some menus were made in order to make them
more beautiful and responsive for any screen size.
- Re-encoded all videos from the online version to 60% smaller size. This had a
small impact on the quality of the videos but a big improvement on the loading
times. If you want to play with the highest possible quality, I recommend the
offline version.
- The Guide is now a supporter exclusive feature.
- Fixed a bug that prevent audio and font changes in options to be saved in saves.

- Added animations and sound effects in the fighting minigame.
- Added sound effects in Mr. Reed missions.
- Added some more texts in the remaining main scenes (This work started in the
previous version but had not been completed. Now all the main scenes have more text
than they originally had).
- Fixed a bug in the gallery when restarting the game. This bug blocked some
already unlocked scenes and sometimes did the opposite.

- A few more adjustments made to the fighting system.
- Since some people didn't find the online store easily in the past version, a link
to the store has now been added every time you get an in-game tip about buying a
gift. The online store is still available in the sidebar anytime from the ninth day
(Tuesday). This is just an alternative way to access it.
- Added a dimmed button whenever there is an option unavailable by the player not
meeting the requirements, such as when there is no item to give to a character or
when some extra choice is not available. That way players will know (most of the
time) when they are missing some opportunity in the game. Prior to this change, the
option simply didn't appear when you didn't meet the requirements and players often
didn't even know that some alternative options existed.
- Added a notification whenever the player receives any stat points. (Note: the
notification will not always be displayed at the same time the player receives the
stat point. This can happen a little before or a little later depending on the
context of the dialogs - This is not a bug)
- Added some more texts in most of the main scenes.
- Some main scenes have been rebalanced to make better use of stats.
- Fixed a bug in some scenes, when the partner climaxed three times.
- Fixed some more audio overlap bugs.

- 2 new in-game days.


- 13 new scenes.
- New system: Money. Now you earn money for your work every Friday. Several events
now spend or generate money. Several previous events were adapted to spend or
generate money in order to standardize the game.
- New system: Online Store and Inventory. After a certain moment of the game, you
will have an online store available in the sidebar. This store contains gifts for
sale to be given to characters at certain times. The window also serves as an
inventory showing how many of each item you currently have.
- New stat: Corruption. Now you can earn corruption points depending on the choices
made during Mr. Reed's missions. These points will impact the future of the story.
- Improved fighting system. Now the enemy has a chance to block and dodge just like
MC. Also added a small tutorial before the fight as requested.
- Additional improvements made to the interface. The font size and line spacing
have been reduced. This makes reading more pleasant and with less scrolling. The
cheat menu was also slightly improved.
- Fixed a bug that generated infinite stats if the player opened a menu and came
back during challenge quiz events.
- Fixed an audio bug when using the sidebar back button after an audio change.
- Fixed save backwards compatibility bug. However, due to the new money system and
the change made in past events, you will need to start a new game. Sorry. Hope this
is the last time.

- 1 new minigame: Fight.
- Several changes were made for a better view on vertical screens, as well as
smaller screens.
- New re-encode of older clips to smaller file size.

- New password system on the online version of third-party sites for unlocking of
patreon only cheat menu. (The online version is released one week after tier 3+

- Fixed the issue of non-backward compatibility of saves. (Unfortunately it will
only have full effect in version 0.4, when you can import the saves from version
0.3).
