1. Kindly place all orders on phone. Place your order in advance (atleast 45
minutes) to avoid delay in service. Every effort will be made to execute
your order within reasonable time. We do appreciate your hurry BUT
even hurry takes time!!
2. If you have any special food preference e.g. boiled, less oily, less chillies,
meals without onion and garlic, etc. please do not hesitate to ask us and
we shall try to meet your needs.
3. All chicken & mutton served is Jhatka cut. We do not serve Halal.
4. All Chinese dishes contain Monosodium Glutamate (Ajinomoto).
5. Order once placed, cannot be cancelled.
6. Food and beverages from outside is strictly not allowed in the Hotel.
Such food will not be heated. Cutlery/crockery will not be provided.
7. Room Service is for beverages, light meals and breakfast only. Lunch
and dinner is strictly served in Restaurant only. Packing of food from
Restaurant is not allowed.
8. After 9:45 P.M. no order for dinner will be accepted.
9. Please call Room Service for removal of tray. The guests of different
rooms can take their meals together in Restaurant only and not in the
rooms jointly.

 House Rules
1. Check‐ in/check‐out time is 12:00 noon. After 12:00 noon next full day will be charged.
2. Guests are requested to deposit the room keys at the reception before going out. The keys may be required by hotel's
housekeeping staff for cleaning or in emergency like short circuit, etc. Guests are advised in their own interest to lock
their luggage before leaving the room. Guests are also advised in their own interest to deposit their cash/valuables at the
reception and obtain a proper receipt for the same. No responsibility whatsoever is accepted for any loss, theft,
pilferage, damage to goods, cash, property, etc. Parking of hotel's guests vehicles is at owner's risk.
3. For any stains or dirt marks put on carpets, sofa, curtains, etc. the guest is liable to pay dry cleaning charges for them. For
any (a) cigarette burn marks on the carpets, blankets, mica, etc. (b) writing on wooden paneling, furniture, walls, etc. (c)
stains of paan, shoe polish, etc. (d) any other kind of disfigurement, full cost of the damaged item (when new) will be
recovered including labour charges.
4. Hot water is supplied to the rooms from 7:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. and 6:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M. only.
5. Washing of clothes is not permitted, due to acute water shortage in Shimla. Water supply to the room shall be
disconnected and Rs. 50.00 per cloth will be charged as penalty if the clothes are washed. Please do not hang string
/rope inside the room in any case and do not lay wet clothes on the furniture.
6. The guests are not permitted to do cooking/heating in their rooms or use their own electrical appliances such as iron,
heater, music system, etc. If anybody is found cooking/heating or using their own electrical appliances in the room, the
guest will be charged Rs.2000.00 as penalty.
7. Food and beverages from outside is strictly not allowed in the hotel. Such food will not be heated. Cutlery/crockery will
not be provided.
8. Smoking and hookah is banned in hotel premises. Consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited in public areas of hotel.
9. Guests are requested to switch off all the lights and other electrical gadgets before leaving the room otherwise Rs. 5.00
per point will be charged extra. Also ensure that all taps are properly closed.
10. Guests servants/drivers, etc. are not permitted to take bedding, etc. from the rooms for their personal use anywhere
else.
11. Pet animals are strictly not allowed inside the hotel. Please be careful of stray monkeys in and around Shimla. Please
keep your windows closed and do not feed or tease the monkeys as they can bite you and even enter the room and
damage the hotel's property and can take away your goods also. The liability will be of the guest if the monkeys damage
the hotel's property.
12. Luggage is strictly not allowed in the elevator.
13. Unregistered guests are strictly not allowed in the rooms of the residents after 10:00 P.M.
14. The guest shall not do or cause to be done any act or activities of illegal, nefarious, immoral, unsocial nature in the hotel
premises and the guest will be solely and fully responsible for the same. The guest will not create any nuisance in the
hotel premises in any manner whatsoever and there should be no disturbance to other guests residing in the hotel.
15. The management reserves to itself the absolute right of admission to any person in the hotel premises, the stay in the
hotel permits only accommodation which may be ended and refused at any time by the management without previous
notice and without assigning any reason whatsoever and without giving any refund. The guest shall be bound to vacate
when requested to do so. In case of default the management will be entitled to make him vacate the room and to remove
the luggage and belongings of the visitor from the room occupied by the guest and lock the room.
16. The management will have a right to lock the main gate and detain the luggage, belongings and other personal assets of
the guests if the payment of bills is not made before leaving the hotel.
17. Management will not be answerable/responsible in any case whatsoever against inconvenience caused beyond their
control if sudden failure of electricity, elevator, central heating system, mini fridge, cable T.V. network, telephone
services, water supply, labour unrest, etc. takes place. The hotel does not have electricity backup/generator as power
cuts in Shimla are very rare and brief.
18. All disputes shall be settled in Shimla courts only, whether by legal action or otherwise.
In case of violation of these rules, the hotel management has full right to get the room vacated immediately at any time and
no refund will be made. The management reserves to itself the right to alter, amend, add or delete any of the above rules,
regulations and terms and conditions at any time without prior notice and the guest is bound to abide by them.
