Runh Electrical Corporation Limited Zambia Project Department has been contracted by Maamba
Energy Limited (MEL) to construct a Phase II (2x150MW) Thermal Power Plant in Maamba
Sinazongwe District. The Company is seeking for dedicated and skilled candidates to join its dynamic
team during construction of Phase II of the Thermal Power Plant.
1. Human Resources Officer x 3
Location: Maamba Sinazongwe District Southern Province
Job Type: Contract

Reports to: Human Resources Manager
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Human Resources Officer to join our team. The HR
Officer will be responsible for a variety of human resources functions, including recruitment,
employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labour laws. The ideal
candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of HR best practices,
and a commitment to fostering a positive workplace culture.
Key responsibilities
Rerutiment and Onboarding:
Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies
Screen and interview potential candidates
Manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring smooth transition into the company
Employee relations
Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns
Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture
Mediate and resolve workplace conflicts
Performance Management
Assist in the development and implementation of performance management systems
Conduct peroformance reviews and provide feedback to employees
Support employees in their professional development
Compliance and policy management
Ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations
Update and maintain HR policies and procedures
Conduct regular audits to ensure HR practices are up to date
Administrative duties
Maintain accurate and up to date employee records
Prepare HR reports and documentation
Assist with payroll and benefits administration
Qualification
Grade Twelve (12) full school certificate
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, and or a
related field
Proven experience as an HR Officer or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of labour laws and regulations
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
Proficiency in HR software and Microsft Office suite
Preferred Qualifications
Member of Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management (ZIHRM)
Working Conditions
The role may involve exposure to hazardous materials and environments, requiring

2. Document Controller X 3
Location: Maamba, Sinazongwe Southern Province
Job Type: Contract
Reports to: Project Director
Job Summary: The document controller will ensure that all documents are properly controlled,
distributed, and accessible to relevant team members. The ideal candidate will have strong
attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and experience with document management
systems
Key Responsibilities
Document Management
Develop and maintain document control systems and procedures
Ensure all documents are properly field and stored in both physical and electronics formats
Track and manage document versions, ensuring that only the latest versions are in use.
Document distribution
Distribute documents to relevant team members and stakeholders in a timely manner
Maintain a distribution log to track document receipt and review
Compliance
Conduct regular audits to ensure documentation is up to date and accurate
Assist with the preparation of documentation for internal and external audits
Administrative support
Provide administrative support to project teams, including preparing reports and preparations
Assist with the coordination of meeting and document reviews

Job Type: Contract
Reports to: Equipement Manager/Operations Manager
Job Summary: The equipment administrator will be responsible for tracking equipment usage,
scheduling maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate
will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience with inventory
management system.
Key Responsibilities
Equipment Management
Maintain accurate records of all company equipment, including serial numbers, purchase
dates, and maintenance schedule
Monitor and track equipment usage and location
Coordinate the allocation and distribution of equipment to employees and departments
Maintenance and repairs
Schedule and oversee regular maintenance and serviceing of equipment
Ensure all equipment is in good working condition and arrange for repairs as needed
Maintain a log of maintenance and repair activities

4. Material Administrator X 2

Job Type: Contract
Reports to: Operations Manager
Job Summary: The Material Administrator will be responsible for tracking inventory,
coordinate shipments, and ensuring that materials are available for other needs. The ideal
candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and experience with
inventory management systems
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management
Maintain accurate records of material inventory, including quantities, locations and usage
Monitor inventory levels and reorder materials as needed to prevent shartages
Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy
Material Coordination
Coordinate the receipt, storage and distrbution of materials
Ensure that materials are stored in a safe and organized manner
Work closely with the procurement team to manage incoming shipments and deliveries
Shipping and recieving
Oversee the shipping and receiving processes, including preparing shipping documents and
coordinating with carriers
Inspect incoming materials for quality and accuracy, and report any discrepancies
Administrative support

equipment management.

7. Logistics Assistant X 2

Job Summary: The Logistics Assistant will provide essential support to the logistics team
ensuring smooth operations and efficient management of materials and equipment for
construction project.
Key Responsibilities
Site Preparation
Assist in setting up construction sites, including aaranging tools and equipment
Documentation
Prepare and maintain project reports, records and shipping documentation
Inventory Management
Monitor and manage inventory of materials and tools, coordinating orders as needed
Communication
Facilitate communication between office and field staff to enhance efficiency and project
clarity
Safety compliance
Ensure all safety guidelines and regulations are followed on the construction site
Logistics coordination
Coordinate with subcontractors and other professional services as required
Warehouse operation
Manage inbound and outbound docks, ensuring items are prperly scanned and accounted for
Record keeping
Maintain accurate records and manage elctronic shipping files
Loading/unloading
Assist with loading and unloading trucks when shipment are received or going out
Qualifications
Grade Twelve (12) full school certificate
Diploma or equivalent in engineering, construction or related field
Experience in a construction setting is highly desirable
Strong communication skills, proficiency in using basic tools and technology related to
construction management and the ability to work effectively in a team
8. Civil Technician X 6
Location: Maamba, Sinazongwe Southern Province
Job Type: Contract
Reports to: Chief Engineer
Job Summary: The Civil Technician will support civil engineering projects by assisting with site
surveys, technical drawings, project documentation, and compliance with regulations. This role is
essential to ensuring the successful completion of infrustructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
Site surveys
Perform site surveys to collect data for project planning and design
Regulatory compliance
Ensure all projects comply with local and state regulations
Quality control
Conduct quality control inspections and tests to ensure project standards are meet
Reporting
Prepare and present reports to stakeholders on project status and findings

9. Installation Technician X 12
Location: Maamba, Sinazongwe Southern Province
Job Type: Contract
Reports to: Chief Engineer
Job Summary: The Installation Technician will be responsible for installing, mainating, and
troubleshooting various systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Installation
Install systems and equipment according to specifications and project requirements
Maintainance
Perform routen maintanance and inspections to ensure systems are operating efficiently
Troubleshooting
Diagnose and repair system malfunctions and issues
Documentation
Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance and repairs.
Training
Train the client on the proper use and maintainance of installed systems
Client service
Provide support and guidance to clients, ensuring their satisfaction with the installation and
performance of the systems
Qualifications
Grade Twelve (12) full school certificate
Diploma or equivalent; technical certification or a Degree in a related field is preffered
1-3 years of experience in installation, maintainance or a related field

10. Welders X 10
Location: Maamba, Sinazongwe District Southern Province
Job Type: Full Time
Job Summary: The Welder will be responsible for welding and joining metal components to
fabricate or repair products in accordance with specifications. The ideal candidate will have
strong background in various welding technique, attention to detail, and a dedication to
maintaining the highest safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform welding tasks using MIG, TIG, arc, and other welding techniques
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols
Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
Set up and operate welding equipment, including adjusting settings for different materials
and thicknesses.
Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on welding equipment
Work collaboratively with other team members
