Energy Limited (MEL) to construct a Phase II (2x150MW) Thermal Power Plant in Maamba
Sinazongwe District. The Company is seeking for dedicated and skilled candidates to join its dynamic
team during construction of Phase II of the Thermal Power Plant.
1. Human Resources Officer x 3
Location: Maamba Sinazongwe District Southern Province
Job Type: Contract
Department: Human Resources and Administration
Reports to: Human Resources Manager
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Human Resources Officer to join our team. The HR
Officer will be responsible for a variety of human resources functions, including recruitment,
employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labour laws. The ideal
candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of HR best practices,
and a commitment to fostering a positive workplace culture.
Key responsibilities
 Rerutiment and Onboarding:
 Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies
 Screen and interview potential candidates
 Manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring smooth transition into the company

Job Summary: The document controller will ensure that all documents are properly controlled,

attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and experience with document management

Key Responsibilities
 Document Management
 Develop and maintain document control systems and procedures
 Ensure all documents are properly field and stored in both physical and electronics formats
 Track and manage document versions, ensuring that only the latest versions are in use.
 Document distribution
 Distribute documents to relevant team members and stakeholders in a timely manner
 Maintain a distribution log to track document receipt and review

coordinate shipments, and ensuring that materials are available for other needs. The ideal
candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and experience with
inventory management systems
Key Responsibilities
 Inventory Management
 Maintain accurate records of material inventory, including quantities, locations and usage
 Monitor inventory levels and reorder materials as needed to prevent shartages
 Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy
 Material Coordination
 Coordinate the receipt, storage and distrbution of materials
 Ensure that materials are stored in a safe and organized manner
 Work closely with the procurement team to manage incoming shipments and deliveries

8. Civil Technician X 6
Location: Maamba, Sinazongwe Southern Province
Job Type: Contract
Reports to: Chief Engineer
Job Summary: The Civil Technician will support civil engineering projects by assisting with site
surveys, technical drawings, project documentation, and compliance with regulations. This role is
essential to ensuring the successful completion of infrustructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
 Site surveys
 Perform site surveys to collect data for project planning and design
 Regulatory compliance
 Ensure all projects comply with local and state regulations

Job Type: Contract
Reports to: Chief Engineer
Job Summary: The Installation Technician will be responsible for installing, mainating, and
troubleshooting various systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
 Installation
 Install systems and equipment according to specifications and project requirements
 Maintainance
 Perform routen maintanance and inspections to ensure systems are operating efficiently
 Troubleshooting
 Diagnose and repair system malfunctions and issues
 Documentation

 Training

10. Welders X 10

Job Summary: The Welder will be responsible for welding and joining metal components to
fabricate or repair products in accordance with specifications. The ideal candidate will have
strong background in various welding technique, attention to detail, and a dedication to
maintaining the highest safety standards.

 Perform welding tasks using MIG, TIG, arc, and other welding techniques

 Lay bricks, blocks, and stones in accordance with project specifications
 Blue print interpretation
 Read and interpret blueprints and plans to ensure accurate construction

 Prepare mortar, cement and other materials needed for bricklaying

 Repair and maintain existing brickwork and masonry structures
 Safety compliance

 Vocational training or an apprenticeship in bricklaying is preffered
 2-5 years experience in as a bricklayer or in a related field
 Strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, and ability to work with precision
 Relevant certification or licenses maybe advantagious
 Ability to lift and carry heavy materials, work at heights, perform physical labour for
extended periods
14. Interpreter X 4
Location: Maamba, Sinazongwe Southern Province
Job Type: Contract
Job Summary: The Interpreter will serve as bridge between diverse linguistic groups within the
construction environment. This position requires acurate translation of spoken and written
information, ensuring clear communication between English and Chinese speaking personnel,
clients, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
 Oral interpretation
 Provide on-site interpretation during meetings, presentations, and daily operations.
 Written translation
 Translate construction documents, manuals, reports and other materials
 Ensure translations are accurate and clear for all parties involved
 Project assistance
 Assist project managers in communication with clients and stakeholders
 Attend construction site visits and translate safety briefings and constructions
 Cultural meditation
 Bridge cultural gaps and foster an inclusive environment
 Provide insight into cultural nuances that may impact construction project
Qualifications
