Assessment Description:

This project is a part of concurrent evaluation of Desk Research (DR) subject. This is
individual project.
Purpose of the Desk Research Project:

1. Develop a comprehensive understanding of industry structures, competition, and


market dynamics.

2. Analyze the financial performance and management practices of companies within


selected industries.

3. Assess the impact of regulatory policies and external factors on industries.

4. Identify key trends, innovations, and strategic developments shaping the industries.

5. Produce well-structured, professional industry analysis reports.

6. Enhance collaborative research, critical thinking, and presentation skills.

Guidelines for Assignment:

Students should consider the following points while selecting research project.
1. Use credible sources like industry reports, government publications, and
reputable business news portals. (Euromonitor-Passport database, CMIE,
McKinsey, Statista, Bloomberg terminal, PwC’s Report, CRISIL,.. so, on
