Ans. Promotion refers to any type of marketing communication used to inform or
persuade target audiences of the relative merits of a product, service, brand or issue.
The aim of promotion is to increase awareness, create interest, generate sales or
create brand loyalty.

2) What is Induction?
Ans. Induction is the task of introducing the new employee to the policies.
Procedures, rules and regulation of the organization.

3) What is Placement?
Ans. Placement is the process of assigning a specific job to each of the selected
candidates. It involves assigning a specific rank and responsibility to an individual. It
implies matching the requirements of a job with the qualification of the candidates.

4) What are the content of induction programme?


Ans. *The company’s organization structure.

 Policies and procedure of the company.

 Location of department and employee facilities.

in various industry.
