Pulang Bato Falls is a striking waterfall located in
Valencia, Negros Oriental. It gets its name, which
translates to "Red Rock Falls," from the reddish rocks
surrounding the falls, caused by the presence of sulfur
deposits in the area. The waterfall cascades into a clear
pool where visitors can swim or relax. Its serene
environment, coupled with the lush greenery and the
sulfuric aroma, creates a memorable experience for
nature lovers. Pulang Bato Falls is also easily accessible
from Dumaguete City, making it a popular spot for
PULANGBATO FALLS both locals and tourists looking for a quick escape into
nature.
Piaya originated in Negros Occidental,
particularly in Bacolod City, known as the
"Sugar Capital of the Philippines." It traces its
roots back to the early 20th century during
the rise of the sugar industry in the region.
Farmers and workers used muscovado sugar, a
local product, to create this simple yet
flavorful pastry as an affordable treat.
PIAYA
The Ruins is a famous historical landmark located in
Talisay City, Negros Occidental. It is the remains of an
early 20th-century mansion built by Don Mariano
Ledesma Lacson, a wealthy sugar baron, in memory of
his wife, Maria Braga Lacson, who passed away during
childbirth. Constructed in the 1900s, the mansion
showcased Italian-inspired architecture and was made
from materials of exceptional quality. During World
War II, the structure was intentionally burned by
Filipino guerillas to prevent Japanese forces from using
it as a base.

Mount Kanlaon is an active stratovolcano located on
Negros Island, straddling the provinces of Negros
Occidental and Negros Oriental. It is the highest peak
on the island and in the Visayas region, standing at
2,465 meters (8,087 feet) above sea level. Known for its
