The students are asked to do a quick recap about the last lesson which was about Elements
of Communication Process
The facilitator asks the students to read a scenario that presents an unethical instance and
asks the students to choose from the multiple choices how to address the issue.

these three, we have no shared reality, no rule of law, no democracy.”

3. Factors Influencing Ethical Communication
- Ethical aspects consider the complexities in the communication process that
discerns what to disclose and not to disclose, thus, facing three simple choices: to
speak, to listen or to remain silent.
- Timing. Information disclosed at one point maybe considered unethical in another
period of time.
- Ethical Context. The ethical nature of communication must be considered within
the context of who, when, what and where. It is important to know who is speaking
to whom, what and where.

The class is divided into 4 groups. Each group is given a flaglet. The first group to raise
and correctly classify the sentence according to structure will earn 2 points. The other
group has the chance to steal if wrong answer is given.
