II Installation & Maintenance
2.1 Installation:
A. Unpacking:
When delivery, the machine is carefully packed in a crate, a case, or a
pallet. To ensure the machine is stable during transportation, four bolts
are used to secure the machine firmly to the base of the packing. To
unpack the machine, it is necessary to unscrew the bolts first.

Bolts

B. Lifting:
Place lifting ropes through the four rings attached on the machine as
illustrated below. When placing the ropes, please place them in the way
that, when hung tightly, the ropes will not damage any parts of the
machine (especially the pincers and their oil hoses). Make sure that
the ropes and lifting device have the capability plus extra margin to
handle the weight of the machine (above 1500 Kg).

C.Moving:
The machine is equipped with four wheels for moving by hands. Push
the machine on the both sides to move the machine to the pre-selected
position. Please pay attention to the floor condition before moving, be
sure that the wheels will not get stuck in any holes of the floor.
D.Positioning:
To allow for the operation and maintenance access, it is advisable that
the minimum floor space shall be at least as depicted below:

益鋐企業有限公司 YE HONE ENTERPRISE CO ., LTD

2
E. Fixing:
When the machine arrives at the position with allowable space, screw
the four bolts into the thread holes on the four corners until the four
wheels are slightly off the ground. This will prevent the machine from
moving during operation because of vibration.
F. Place the machine at an appropriate location of the production line.
G. Open left cover of Machine, unscrew and lift oil tank cover.
H.Fill the tank with circulation oil for about 40 gallons until the filter is
completely submerged for at least 3 cm.
Recommended circulation oil:
SHELL TELLUS 46#
MOBIL DTE 46#
CPC ALPUR 46#
I. Connect power wires to the power source with identical rating (220V or
380V) as indicated on the outlet of the wires.
2.2 Warning Signs:

2.3 Testing:
A. Turn on Main Switch, and check if Power Indictor is lit.
B. Push Motor ON button; check connection and wiring if motor does
not rotate.
C. Check that General Pressure Gauge indicates pressure of about
40kg/cm2. If not, the motor might be in reverse rotation. Swap any
two of the three power wires to change the rotation direction of pump
motor.
D. Please refer to Sec. 3.3 for operation testing.
2.4 Maintenance:
A. It is suggested to perform 1st replacement of circulation oil after
2000 hours of operation. After that, replacement can be made every
2400 hours of operation. Be sure to clean the oil tank and filter
during replacement.
B. With new machine, please clean the filter after 500 hours of first
operation, or when pump noise level increases.
C. Sliding parts on the machines are usually equipped with grease
nipples. Please inject grease into those nipples with grease gun
weekly. Please apply grease to sliding parts with brush when there
are no nipples equipped.
D. Please keep electric case dry and clean, and prevent rodent animals
from getting into the case to damage the wires to cause short circuit.
E. If the leakage happens in the hydraulic system, please turn off pump
motor, then open the pressure drain valve first.
F. To keep the machine in good condition, please keep the machine
attended by designated personnel. Should any problem occur,
please contact us, or our agent in local area for services.

V Adjustments
5.1Last Support Adjustment:

Support Middle Height Support Inclination

A. Support Working Height Adjustment:
Support Working Height depends on the thickness on the upper
and insole. Generally it is adjusted to 2-3mm higher than the upper
edge of wipers.
If it is too high, the upper breaks easily; if too low, the wipers might
hit the last.
Clockwise turning of the knob will increase the height; and vice
versa. It can only be adjusted when Support is at low (original)
position.
Notice Please turn off Support Double Rise before the adjustment.
B. Support Original Height Adjustment:
If it is low, it is easier to drop upper edge into pincer jaws; but it also
increases the stretch on upper, which makes upper break easily.
Clockwise turning of the knob will increase the height; and vice
versa.
Notice It can only be adjusted when Support is at high (working)
position.
C. Support Middle Height Adjustment:
It is the height that divides Support rise into two stages when
Support Double Rise is on. To make the adjustment, first open
machine side cover; turn the screw that controls the height of
middle point.
D. Support Inclination Adjustment:
Adjust the screw on the top of Last Support so that, when working,
the support inclines at an angle that makes the insole parallel to the
wiper plane.
