Project-Based Activity: Creating a Recycled Product

Objective:

This project aims to promote environmental awareness and sustainability by encouraging students
to create a useful product from recyclable materials. Through this project, students will develop
creativity, resourcefulness, and responsibility in preserving the environment.

Instructions:

1. Conceptualization:

● Think of a useful product that can be made using recyclable materials.


● Ensure that your product serves a purpose, such as home decoration, school supplies, or

After completing the product, answer the following questions on a short bond paper. It can be
handwritten or printed:

A. Before Making the Product:

● What inspired you to choose this product?


● How do you think this activity helps in environmental preservation?

B. During the Process:

● What challenges did you encounter while creating the product?


● How did you overcome those challenges?
● What did you learn while working on this project?

C. After Finishing the Product:

● How do you feel after successfully creating the product?


● In what ways can this product help reduce waste in your surroundings?
● How can you encourage others to practice recycling and sustainability?

5. Submission:

● Submit your recycled product along with your reflection and discussion papers, as well as
photos documenting your progress (before, during, and after creating the product).

Evaluation Criteria:

Your project will be assessed based on the following:

1. Creativity and Resourcefulness (30%) – How innovative and unique your product is.
2. Use of Recyclable Materials (30%) – The extent to which your product is made from
recycled materials.
3. Functionality and Durability (20%) – How useful and well-made your product is.
4. Reflection and Discussion (20%) – Thoughtfulness and depth of your answers in the
reflection paper.
