SUMMER INTERNSHIP 2025

IIT Mandi invites applications for summer internship for the duration of One-Two month(s) (May-July
2025).

About Internship:
IIT Mandi has a summer internship program which aims at introducing undergraduate and postgraduate
students to research so as to enthuse them, and to get them interested in a career in teaching and research.
This is a one-two month(s) long residential programme and it combines hands-on research training with
a variety of hardware and software analysis tools.

Eligibility:
The programme is open only for MoU (s) Signed with IIT Mandi Institute(s)/College(s) /Universities
candidates:
• For Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology: Only Pre final (i.e. 3rd year)
• For Postgraduate students: Only Pre final (01st year)

Important Instructions(s):
1. Pre-Final year of B.Tech. / B.E. students and PG Students can apply.
2. The interns are expected to work under the mentorship of IIT Mandi faculty member(s) in
different areas.
3. Applicants need to visit IIT Mandi website (Link) for finding the areas of research of faculty.
4. Applicants need to specify the proposed area of work of potential supervisor.
5. Duration for summer internship is one-two month(s).
6. Selected interns will be supported financially @ Rs.10,000/- per month.
7. Travel and living expenses will be borne by the intern.
8. Screening of interns will be done by the schools/centres based on the credentials of applicants.
9. Shortlisting and selection criteria may be different for different schools and centres.
10. Selected candidates will have to arrange letter of recommendation/NOC from their Institute.
11. Minimum duration of internship is one month and maximum two months.
12. Selected students will be informed through e-mail.
