Project 1

Configure the network resources and download the software


1. Configure your computer to use the following network resources
a. Ip address
b. Subnet mask Provided by the invigilator
c. Default gateway
d. Preferred DNS
2. Download to internet browser Google chrome
Note:- Google chrome is a free web browser
3. Install the download file the Google chrome software
4. Open browser and set the home page to google.com
5. Download the DELL desktop Optiplex 780 LAN driver software for windows 7 operating
system.
6. Bookmark dell website page on Google chrome or Firefox.

Project 2
Establish peer to peer network
1. To create a network cable you will need a crimper that is capable of crimping RJ
45connector
2. Establish a network connection between the two computer with hub or switch
3. Test the computer of both computers
4. File share for both computers
5. Connect a printer and install the appropriate driver
6. Test printer for both computer
Project 3
Assemble and disassemble
1. Assemble all the missing components of the computer system
2. Identify each and every missing components of the system.

2. Design new table under library

2.1 Save the table by the name “Write Detail”


2.2 Set Write-Id as primary key
2.3 Customize all the required field properties
2.4 Enter the data on your table
3. Design another table under library
3.1 Field Names are (Pub_Id, Pub_Title, Pub_Name, and Write_Id)
3.2 Assign input mask to the Pub_Id to begin each Pub-Id with “W-“
3.3 Make “W00” in the input mask box to the field Writer Id

3.4 Make Pub_Id as a primary key


3.5 Save your table by Publication
3.6 Enter the following data under the publication table

W-001 Journal Kuraz W001
W-002 Proceeding Birhanna Selam W004
W-003 Book Mega W001
3.7 Create relationship between writer detail and publication table
3.8 Create simple query to access Writers name and all fields under the publication table
3.9 Create a report of all writers with that pub_name and pub_title and save it by Writers pub
3.10 Print the above writers pub report.
