AND
RECORDING SYSTEM-
KARAT –B- 29K
KARAT-B-29K airborne system for flight data
acquisition, monitoring, and recording is design for :
Collect & convert the parametric information received
in analogue & digital format, event command & signals
from onboard sensors, aircraft systems and integrated.
Perform onboard processing of the information
receive in real time .
Display the test result receive from the aircraft
equipment on the MFD.
Display and analyze the information during the pre
flight test thus help out the maintenance personnel for
the preparation of the aircraft.
Recorded the processed information in the protected
small size on board recorders.
Store the recorded information in a protected
onboard flight recorder as well in flash memory
card for subsequent on ground processing.
Record voice information received from the
INTERCOM system and radio- communication.
Evaluate action of the crew during training
sorties with store data.
Evaluate the functioning of the onboard
equipment by storing the defect or fault occurs
during servicing or flight.
Enters the service parameters and calibration
data to the on board components.
KARAT-B-29K SYSTEM PROVIDES FOR :
Reception of information from potentiometer,
thermocouples, heat resistor, Hz signals,DC and AC power
supply and event commands.
Reception of digital information from aircraft equipment.
Recording of information received from the aircraft system.
Storage of flight information in case of flight accidents
Re-writing the flight information in the ZBN-MR1 protected
flight recorder,EBN-1KM operational recorder and MSBN-K
small size recoverable flight recorder.
Re-writing of flight information recorded by EBN-1KM
operational flight recorded directly from a removal cassette
into ship borne processing suite.
It provide support in flight performance limitation and
support maintenance personnel for defect investigation.
KARAT-B-29K SYSTEM RECEIVES:
Parametric information in a format of analogue signal
from the aircraft sensors (71 signals)
Event signals and commands from the aircraft units
and systems (160 signals)
Digital information in a format of bi-polar serial code
(BPSC) from the aircraft radio / electronic equipment (16
Lines)
A serial code of the MICE in the monitor mode from
radio / Electronic equipment(02 STBY channels)
Voice information from the A/c INTERCOM sys and
communication equipment on one channel
