These days, young individuals are believed to squander too much time
and money on keeping up with the latest trends, including flashy clothings
and smart devices. Personally, I totally agree with this statement owing to
the following reasons.

First and foremost, owning the latest fashion goods is a way of showing off
the young’s status. In this materialistic world, appearance and
materialism are of paramount importance in determining one’s personal
values. Changing clothes constanly or having the latest Iphone are typical
examples of this lifestyle. A person wearing Gucci clothes and using
Iphone 13 tends to gain more respect and admiration from others than the
one not owning these latest trends. Therefore, a large amount of money
and time must be spent on following the trends of this constanly changing
world.

Furthermore, running after the fashion trends can help youngsters keep up
with their peers. Seeing other people owning flashy clothes or latest
devices may lead to the young’s desire to own the same products as
others; otherwise, they may get a sense of exclusion. This may create a
domino effect on the youngsters, which leads to a lot of money and time
wasted on such trends. For instance, the sight of young people lining up in
order to get the latest Iphone shows the obsession and addiction to the
trends, or they may just want to purchase the same thing as others do.

In conclusion, I believe that the excessive amount of spending in terms of

time and money on latest trends among young people is due to their
desire to showcase affluence as well as to get rid of exclusion.

Some people argue that zoos help to preserve wild creatures, while others

endangered species, I believe that the poor conditions that many animals
held in captivity are kept in make the existence of zoos unacceptable.
On the one hand, there are many projects in existence in zoological parks
around the world where species facing extinction have been successfully
bred in captivity and their numbers increased substantially. This is
important for ensuring the survival of animals under threat from poaching
and the destruction of their natural environments. A good example of this
is the golden lion tamarin from Brazil which nearly died out because of
logging and mining activities which are destroying its habitat. Today, a
third of wild golden lion tamarins were raised in captivity.
On the other hand, a significant percentage of zoos house their animals in
cramped cages with very little space to move around or behave naturally.
This can lead to them becoming distressed and depressed as well as
suffering physically through lack of exercise. A friend of mine recently
visited a wildlife park while on holiday abroad and was very upset to see
the lions pacing up and down in a narrow, bare pen and eagles in
enclosures so small that they were unable to fly.
In conclusion, although zoos do help to safeguard dwindling populations of
particular species, the suffering experienced by many captive creatures
due to unsuitable living conditions amounts to cruelty and they should not
be allowed to exist.

and ocean levels are increasing dramatically. This essay will first indicate
that the major issues brought on by this phenomena are the loss of land
and the flooding of dwellings, and it will then make the case that the best
solutions involve reducing pollution and constructing flood protection.
Land is being lost, and homes are frequently flooded, which are the main
issues brought on by rising sea levels. Low-lying territory gets buried
when sea levels rise, which results in many countries becoming smaller.
Additionally, a rise in sea level can cause floods and tsunamis,
endangering the homes, possessions, and lives of millions of coastal
residents worldwide. During the 2011 Tsunami in Japan, which resulted in
the displacement of millions of people, the destruction caused by this was
evident to all.

Building flood barriers and reducing pollution production are two potential
solutions to these issues. Each individual may help the environment by
lowering their carbon footprint, which will limit the rise in the water level.
Furthermore, inhabited areas could be protected from flooding by
installing flood defenses like dikes, dams, and floodgates along waterways
and coastlines. Japan is one of the most exposed regions surrounding the
sea, but they have used flood protection and various weather forecasting
methods successfully.

In conclusion, the sea level increased by increasing global temperature is

one of the challenges that we face, and it can lead to heavy
consequences such as: the country is lost and many areas are pressed.
However, we may prevail by safeguarding our environment and
employing flood-prevention strategies that have been employed by
nations like Japan.
