B. Similarly, having guns on campus could increase the level of security for
individuals some students while changing the classroom environment.
1. Concealed gun carry usually occurs when people feel as if they are as if they
are not safe and feel the need to provide their own level of security.
2. Concealed gun carry could further tension between different groups of
students.
3. Students from different cultural and social classes may feel the need to settle
differences or disputes among each other, endangering other students.
C. Awareness or presence of firearm may increase the need to act through violence.
1. Wrongful use of firearm is likely to occur when students feel insecure or
anxious.
2. The use of firearm may be used as a self-defense mechanism when a threat
was only perceived or unfounded.
3. The chances of causing harm to others increases if professors or students feel
threatened could use the weapon.
III. Conclusion
Gun policies on campus have valid arguments for both sides and ultimately both seek
to protect human life and promote security for human.
The risks and disadvantages of campus gun carry are more when compared to the
disadvantages.
