1. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

This report provides an in-depth overview of my 14-day internship at Pramukh Web, conducted
under the expert guidance of Mr. Akshay Shah. As a 7th-semester student from SAL College of
Engineering, this internship represented a crucial bridge between academic learning and real-
world application. The internship offered me a unique opportunity to put into practice the
theoretical concepts I had learned in my studies, particularly focusing on market research and
strategic communication. My role primarily involved enhancing Pramukh Web's market presence
through targeted research activities and effective use of LinkedIn to engage with a global
audience.
2. INTRODUCTION

Understanding and developing new technologies, improving existing ones, and solving problems
related to IT infrastructure, software, hardware, and communication systems

technology solutions to businesses worldwide

The internship was structured over 14 days, with specific tasks assigned each day to provide a
well-rounded experience in market research, data analysis, and communication. The primary
objectives were to:

 Understand market research methodologies.


 Analyze competitors and market trends.
 Communicate effectively with a global audience via LinkedIn.
 Promote Pramukh Web’s services.
3. DAY BY DAY ACCOUNT OF TASK AND LEARNING

3.1 DAY 1: ORIENTATION AND INTIAL SETUP

Task: On the first day of my internship at Pramukh Web, I attended an orientation session with
Mr. Akshay Shah. This session was crucial as it set the foundation for my entire internship
experience. During the orientation, Mr. Shah provided a comprehensive overview of the
company's services, goals, and market positioning. He also outlined the specific expectations and
objectives of my internship, which included gaining hands-on experience in market research and
promoting the company’s services through LinkedIn.

Learning: This orientation was incredibly informative and gave me a clear understanding of
Pramukh Web’s operations and the significance of my role. I learned about the various IT
solutions the company offers, such as web development, digital marketing, and software services.
Additionally, I understood the importance of my contributions to the company’s marketing and
research efforts, setting the stage for my tasks in the following days.

3.2 DAY 2: MARKET RESEARCH BASICS


Task: The second day was dedicated to learning the fundamentals of market research. Mr. Shah
introduced me to different types of market research, emphasizing the distinction between primary
and secondary research. He explained that primary research involves collecting original data
directly from sources through methods like surveys, interviews, and observations. In contrast,
secondary research involves analyzing existing data from reports, studies, and other publications.

Learning: I gained a solid understanding of the basics of market research and its importance in
making informed business decisions. This knowledge helped me appreciate the role of data in
understanding market trends, customer preferences.

3.3 DAY 3: COMPETITOR ANALYSIS


Task: On the third day, I focused on conducting a SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses,
Opportunities, Threats) of key competitors in the market. Mr. Shah guided me through the process
of identifying and evaluating the strengths and weaknesses of our competitors, as well as the
opportunities and threats they face.

Learning: This task was highly insightful as it helped me understand the competitive landscape in
which Pramukh Web operates. By identifying the strengths and weaknesses of our competitors, I
learned how Pramukh Web could leverage its unique capabilities to gain a competitive edge.
3.4 DAY 4: CUSTOMER PROFILING

Task: On the fourth day, I worked on developing customer personas based on demographic and
behavioral data. Mr. Shah explained the importance of customer profiling in creating targeted
marketing strategies. I gathered data on different customer segments, including age, gender,
location, and purchasing behavior, to create detailed personas.

Learning: This exercise highlighted the importance of understanding and targeting specific

services. Mr. Shah provided guidance on how to create engaging content for different platforms,

meaningful conversations, and expanding my professional network. Effective LinkedIn

our services clearly and attractively.

challenge made it difficult to ensure that the data I was working with was both accurate and

Solution: To address this challenge, I implemented a multi-faceted approach to data collection

Solution: To tackle this challenge, I developed tailored communication strategies for different

1. Segmented Audience Approach: I categorized my LinkedIn audience into different


segments based on factors such as industry, region, and professional interests. This
segmentation allowed me to craft targeted messages that addressed the specific needs and
preferences of each group.
2. Customized Messaging: For each audience segment, I developed customized
communication strategies. This included creating personalized messages and content that
resonated with the unique characteristics of each group. For example, I tailored my
