Chapter 3: Time is Fake, But Alarms Are Real

You ever look at the clock and it’s 1:12pm, blink, and
suddenly it’s 6:47pm?

And you’re like…

“What just happened?”

That’s stoner time.

It’s like regular time, but slipperier. Stretchier. Sometimes it
disappears completely.

The hours just melt—especially if you’re vibing, zoning out,

or deep in some random rabbit hole about ancient sea turtles
or conspiracy theories involving cereal mascots.

This is why you need alarms.

Not because you’re irresponsible.

Because time is fake and you can’t trust your perception of it
when you’re high.

Alarms are like little reality anchors. They bring you back.

You don’t have to use them in a weird, rigid way.

Just set a few up to gently poke your brain throughout the
day. Like:
• “Get up now-ish”
• “Do that one thing you keep avoiding”
• “Water?”
• “Stretch, you noodle”
• “You said you’d call your aunt, remember?”

Label them with whatever makes sense to you. Use emojis.

Use slang. Make them funny. It doesn’t matter. What matters
is that they go off and interrupt the haze just enough to
remind you that the planet is still spinning.

Pro tip:
Set one for when to stop too.
Stopping is just as important as starting. You don’t need to
organize your entire life in one high. You just need to know
when to chill and call it a win.

Because let’s be real—you probably did more than you think.
