Putty received at site is of approved brand having

batch-wise MTC & fresh stock
Workmen unloading material shall wear rubber
2 gloves, mask and goggles for skin, dust and eye
protection
3 Putty bags shall be stored at the work site in a
building or a shed which is dry, leakproof and as
moisture-proof on wooden planks/concrete sleeper
in such a way as to keep about 150 mm to 200 mm
clear above the floor and shall not be stacked above
5 feet

4 Water used for putty mixing is confirming to IS 456


Pre 2000 requirements
5 Right tools and equipments for working and
checking are available
6 Ensure that area where putty is to be done is free
from defects such as crack, undulation, foregin
material etc.
7 Pre-wetting of cement plaster surface to bring it in
SSD condition
8 Electrical work is completed & checked by
concerned engineer and closed
9 Surface is checked for the & observed with in
tolerance of + / - 3 mm in a span of 3m
10 All workmen shall wear rubber gloves, mask and
goggles for skin, dust and eye protection
11 1st coat of putty is uniformly applied with blade &
smoothly finished

applied and finished

15 Putty powder mixed with water should be consumed
within same day & within pot-life

and house keeping should be maintained
