DLAB LIGHTBOARD CHEAT SHEET

SET UP:

● Plug in LEDs. First strip is DS house right on the wall. Second in on the back wall on the stage
● Turn on breakers in closet. Does not matter which you turn on first, but you must reverse the
order when turning off (for instance you turn on left right, you turn off right left.) Leave 10
seconds in between turning on the two sides
● On the light board click the power button and let the board and the monitor power on

BASICS:

● The screen we will live on for most of this is 3 Live MS1


● You can click on the lights using the mouse and monitor or by manually entering on the
keypad
● The LED colors are operated on 5 ML controls
● You can operate the level of light with the scroller on the far right
● Creating a cue: make sure you are on PSD list 1. add all the lights you want for the cue. Then:
record + CUE + whatever cue number and then enter. You should see your new cue added to
the screen
● If you want to change how long it takes for a cue to come up: Cue + whatever cue number+
time
● The square is stop and the horizontal triangle is play
● okay and double check to make sure everything is saved
● Deleting a cue: delete + whatever cue number + enter
● If you want to copy a previous light design you have already created: cue + whatever cue
number + copy + whatever new cue number
● If you need to change a previous cue: cue + whatever cue number + update cue only + enter
● Once you have added all of your cues for your show: click bottom triangle, save as, rename to
whatever show, double click

TURN OFF:

● Make sure all lights are out: go to + cue + out ; or you can manually take each light out
● Make sure all work is saved
● Triangle in bottom right and power off device (do not click the power on button to turn on)
● Drape cover over the board
● Breakers off in reverse order
● Unplug LEDS

*REMINDER THAT IF YOU ARE TRAINED ON THE BOARD YOU ARE NOT AUTHORIZED TO TRAIN OTHERS.
YOU MUST BE TRAINED BY A MEMBER OF THE DLAB TEAM TO BE ABLE TO OPERATE THE BOARD*
