ABOUT US
Government Engineering College Samastipur was established in the year
2019 by the Government of Bihar under the Department of Science and
Technology. The College is spread over an area of 19 Acres of Nargoghi ,
Sarairanjan Block , Samastipur.
The idea behind its establishment is to cater growing needs of increasing
technical demands in our society. The institute is affiliated from Bihar
Engineering University Patna. All the Courses are approved by All India
Council for technical Education(AICTE) New Delhi.

ABOUT NEXUS
NEXUS is the annual techfest of Government Engineering College Samastipur, organized
by ASIMO : The college's technical club. This event took place on August 15 and 16, 2024
11 - 13th April for first time, celebrating technological innovation and creativity. The event, a showcase
2025 of technological innovation and student ingenuity . GEC SAMSTIPUR hosts a prominent
Annual Tech fest which is being conducted by its Technical Club ASIMO: (NEXUS )
flagship events in their respective domains. NEXUS'24 stands as GECS biggest techno-
management fest, often scheduled annually . ASIMO hosts technical workshops,
seminars, and high-stakes competitions. A major highlight of the fest is Robotix, an
innovative robotics contest that consistently attracts tech enthusiasts. TECH Fest is the
cornerstone of GEC SAMASTIPUR legacy, bringing together students, professionals, and
global talent under one roof. Nexus'25 scheduled to take place from April 11-13, 2025. This
INTER COLLEGE event brings together tech enthusiasts from various institutions to
compete, collaborate, and innovate. It will feature a range of technical, coding, robotics,
and innovation-based competitions, along with workshops, hackathons, guest lectures,
and exhibitions. The fest provides a platform for students to showcase their technical
skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities in a competitive environment.
