‘The undersigned is directed to say that Santiniketan Medical College, Bolpur authorities moved a proposal for
fixation of fee structure for 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 sessions for MBBS course before the Permanent Fee
Fixation Committee. In compliance of the judgment and orders delivered by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India
dated 14-08-2003 in Writ Petition (Civil) No. 350 of 1993 (Islamic Academy of Education & another - VS. - State
of Kamataka & ors), andthe Judgment delivered on 12th August, 2005 in Civil Appeal 5041 of 2005 (P.A. Inamdar
& On, - vs. - State of Maharashtra & Ors.), the proposal was duly placed before the permanent Fee Structure
Committee, constituted in terms of this Department notification number No: HF/O/MER'/1035/2D-05/2004 Dated:
Kolkata, the I" September 2008, to decide on the fee structure of private Medical/ Dental College(S) in this state
headed by his Lordship Mr. Justice Jyotirmay Bhattacharya, retired Justice, Caleutta High Court.
1. The said Permanent Committee, in considering the proposal of revised fee structure of MBBS course for 2023-
2024 and 2024-2025, made by the Santiniketan Medical College, Bolpur authority, including their representations
