ELECTION officers

The following square measure the officers appointed by the IEBC to help in administering
elections.
1. District election coordinators. - officers to blame for all electoral matters at district
level. They act as a link between individuals at the grassroots level and therefore the IEBC
headquarters.
2. Registration officers. –they register voters in every body and issue them with voter’s
card.
3. Returning officers. – square measure responsible of elections during a body that has
many polling stations. They perform the subsequent functions:

3. They distribute ballot papers and boxes to polling stations.

wherever the votes are going to be counted.
5. They maintain law and order at polling stations and report any irregularities to the
functionary.

5. Polling clerks. On the election day, they assist and guide voters, significantly people
