Countable and Uncountable Nouns  We can use expressions like some, a little,

or much with uncountable nouns.


Countable Nouns are things we can count. They
have singular and plural forms. o "Can I have some bread?"

Examples of countable food nouns: o "There is a lot of sugar in the tea."

 apple (apples) Activity: Categorize the Foods

 banana (bananas) Read the list of foods below and decide if they are
countable or uncountable. Write C for countable
 egg (eggs)
and U for uncountable.
