Arbor Insight’s real-time Advanced Traffic Reports (ATR) are a game-changer for network and
security operations teams. And ATRs extend all Sightline use cases – making them ideal for
longer-term, recurring operational reporting. ATRs combine the speed, agility, and compact
storage of traditional Sightline reports with the flexibility, multi-dimensionality and data
granularity only possible with a back-end flow data store like Insight.

ATRs are user-configurable reports that can contain N-dimensions or facets with configurable
binning granularity. Once you’ve defined an ATR, the system automatically maintains and
refreshes the desired dataset with limited aggregation over time for quick rendering. You can
perform unlimited sub-filtering on the dimensions or facets in your ATR with no loss of fidelity.
You can also mine historical annotated flow you may be storing in Insight by creating one-time
retrospective ATRs. And ATRs can be organized into convenient dashboards customizable – and
only viewable – by each user of the system.

Advanced Traffic Reports allow providers to offer new traffic and mitigation dashboards and
reports tailored to managed service customers, greatly adding to the visibility value for services
using Sightline as a managed service portal.
