Crossplot analysis in Petrel

Open Function window & display Nphi and Rhob logs in it.
Right click on well tops folder and create zone log
Right click on Filter folder and create 1-D filter
Go to settings of 1-D filter and follow the settings as
shown
• Select well and the zone
log associated with it
• Select the required zone
Go to style settings of 1-D filter and click on Remove
points outside filter
Use freehand draw in function window to select the
points of interest

Select using free hand


draw
Right click on new filter and update boolean log
Open well section window and display the well and the
NPHI log and update limits in template settings
Run the provided workflow using parameters as shown
below
Right click on the Nphi_Filtered log created in global
well logs and add it to the Nphi track
Open the well section template and follow the limit and
style settings as shown
Output: Selected points in the crossplot being
highlighted in the well section window
Move/edit the filter in the crossplot and run the workflow
again to update the selected points
Output: Update points
