Untitled Document 2

The scene takes place in a park where Mr. Newton, a physics enthusiast, attempts to explain physics concepts to his friends Tina, Brad, and Lana during a picnic. As they engage in playful banter, Mr. Newton illustrates various laws of physics, such as inertia and gravity, through their interactions. The comedic exchange culminates with an apple falling on Mr. Newton's head, reinforcing the idea that 'for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.'

Title: “Physics in the Park (a Very Scientific Picnic)”

Characters:

Mr. Newton – A passionate physics nerd trying to enjoy his day

Tina – Chill, sarcastic, always eating snacks

Brad – Energetic and always doing the most

Lana – Thinks she knows everything, but never quite gets it right

---

[Scene: A park. A blanket is spread out. Tina is lying down, Brad is throwing a frisbee, Lana is
sipping juice, and Mr. Newton is holding a clipboard and wearing a lab coat for no reason.]

Mr. Newton (standing proudly):

Ah, what a perfect day to relax… and observe the laws of physics in their natural habitat!

Tina (munching chips):

You're literally the only person who says things like that.

Brad (throws frisbee—it lands in a bush):

Physics! I threw that with force!

Mr. Newton (clapping):

Yes, Brad! Newton’s Second Law! Force equals mass times acceleration. F = ma!

Lana (confidently):
Actually, F = fabulous if you ask me.

Mr. Newton (blinking):

Please stop.

Tina (sits up):

Is there a law that explains why this juice keeps spilling every time Brad stomps by?
Mr. Newton:
YES! Inertia! The juice wants to stay at rest, but Brad's stomping applies an unbalanced force!

Brad (still stomping):

I have power! I move juice!

Lana:
So if I sit still long enough, I’m doing science?

Mr. Newton:
Technically, yes. That’s Newton’s First Law. An object at rest stays at rest...

Tina (laying back down):

Boom. I’m a genius.

[Suddenly, an apple falls from a tree and bonks Mr. Newton on the head.]

Mr. Newton (dramatic gasp):

THE LAWS ARE REAL. GRAVITY EXISTS!

Brad (picks up the apple):

This park is haunted by science.

Lana (poking the apple):

Wait… is this the same apple from history? The one that hit Einstein?

Tina:
Lana, no.

Mr. Newton (rubbing head):

That’s it! For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. That apple… was revenge.

Brad:
Revenge of the fruit! I’d watch that movie.

Mr. Newton:
Alright, team. Physics picnic is over. Let’s go before the tree starts throwing coconuts.
