IDC – Insulation Displacement Contact:

IDC is the fastest and most reliable method of terminating a wire

with a connector. A characteristic of this termination technology
is the high stability of the contact. The insulation provides
permanent gas-tight and dust-tight protection of the contacted
wire. IDC-contacted wires can withstand extreme vibrations,
high temperature fluctuations and are perfectly suited for PoE
applications.
In industrial automation, this termination technology is a
guarantee of uninterrupted communication.

PCB-free Design of the Components:

All the products for copper-based data communication (RJ45)

come in a PCB-free design; they are therefore invulnerable to
temperature changes or vibration loads.

Screw-On – the POF Assembly Process:

R&M has developed the Screw-On Assembly Process for POF

(Plastic Optical Fiber) products. It is a on-site assembly that is
gentle to the fibers and that achieves the highest optical values
of all POF assembly processes, supporting data speeds of up to
1000 MBit/s over long distances without any problems.

 Power over Ethernet (PoE) Automation

All RJ45 products are terminated using the IDC (Insulation

Displacement Contact) method. This termination technology ensures
