EVENT SUMMARY:
A Heat wave is a period of extremely hot weather that lasts for several days or weeks. It happens
when the temperature is much higher than normal for a particular place and time of year.
The event “BEAT THE HEAT” was conducted in “Cap bowl orphanage” which spread awareness
about the upcoming heat waves in this season The event started with general interaction with the
orphans and continued by explanation and presentation of the actual meaning of heat wave, its
causes, effects on nature, animals and humans and the precaution steps that need to be taken if one
is effected through it. Also, it included the basic practices that one can include if someone is
affected. The event ended up by few activities which were fun for them as well as included the main
significance of heat wave precautions. Thus the event ended up by providing great information about
the heat waves and how to beat them up.
