JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Summary:
The Human Resources (HR) Intern at our EduTech company will play a pivotal role in
leading and managing all HR functions. This individual will be responsible for developing
and implementing HR strategies, policies, and initiatives to support the organization's
objectives and foster a positive work culture. The Senior HR Manager will oversee
recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development,
compensation and benefits, and HR compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

HR Strategy and Planning:

• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's goals and
objectives.
• Plan and forecast HR needs to support organizational growth and development.
Recruitment and Staffing:

• Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, including job posting, sourcing, interviewing,
and selection.
• Develop effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent in the Edu-Tech industry.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and ensure timely
fulfillment.
Human Resource Intern

Employee Relations and Engagement:

• Foster a positive work environment by promoting employee engagement initiatives


and activities.
• Address employee concerns, grievances, and conflicts in a timely and effective
manner.
• Conduct employee satisfaction surveys and analyze results to improve employee
morale and retention.
Performance Management:

• Implement performance management systems and processes to set clear performance


expectations and goals.
• Provide guidance and support to managers in conducting performance reviews and
feedback sessions.
• Identify training and development needs to enhance employee performance and
productivity.

Training and Development: • Design and deliver training programs to build employee
skills and competencies.
• Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and prioritize learning
initiatives.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
Compensation and Benefits:

• Administer compensation and benefits programs, including salary structures, bonuses,


and incentives.
• Conduct market research to ensure competitive compensation and benefits offerings.
• Manage employee benefits enrollment, claims, and vendor relationships.
HR Compliance: • Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and
company policies.
• Keep abreast of changes in employment laws and regulations and update HR policies
accordingly.
• Manage HR documentation, including employee records, contracts, and compliance
reports.

Leadership and Team Management:

• Lead and mentor the HR team, providing guidance and support in their professional
development.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive work culture within the HR department.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance HR processes and practices.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related


field; Master's degree preferred.
2. Proven experience as an HR manager or senior HR role, preferably in the
EduTech or technology industry.
3. In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
4. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
6. Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resource Information System) and Microsoft
Office Suite.
7. Certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SPHR) is a plus.
