Course Outcome:
 Understand the basic concepts and applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine
Learning (ML).
 Apply simple Machine Learning algorithms for prediction and classification tasks.
 Perform basic data handling and visualization techniques.
 Gain hands-on experience using simple tools like Python and Google Colab.
 Develop a mini project demonstrating a real-world application of AI.

UNIT II: Basics of Machine Learning
Supervised Learning: Linear Regression (Predicting values) - Classification Basics: Decision Trees (Simple
Yes/No Decisions) - Unsupervised Learning: Introduction to Clustering (Grouping similar data).
UNIT III: Working with Data
What is Data - Data Collection – Data Preparation: Cleaning and Organizing – Data splitting- Basic Model
Building and Prediction (conceptual understanding)
UNIT IV: AI Tools and Techniques
Introduction to Python and Google Colab (no prior coding experience required) -Using simple ML
libraries (Introduction to scikit-learn) - Visualizing results using basic graphs and plots
UNIT V: Applications and Mini Project
Applications of AI: Healthcare, Education, Smart Cities - Mini Project: Build a simple predictive model
(example: predicting marks, house prices) - Group Presentation: Real-world AI Application Example
