Role
Programmer Analyst / Programmer Analyst Trainee

Location
PAN India -(Candidate must be flexible to relocate to any of the Cognizant office
location as per the business requirement & demand).

In this role, you will


• Develop responsive user interfaces of a web application using Java, SQL, HTML5, CSS3,
Javascript, basic Bootstrap components.
• Interpret the functional requirements and develop component or module using Java
language, following a component design specification, implement best coding
standards and practices.
• Interpret the entities and relationships and create tables, describe relationships
between tables and write queries for CRUD operations in MySQL database.
• Use JDBC to access DB and perform basic operation.
• Fix issues/defects in any part of an application with minimum support.
• Apply best design principles, appropriate data structures and algorithms to solve a
problem.
• Write unit test cases for a given code using Junit and Mockito, implement Logging and
Code coverage in web application.
• Use MVC components for coding the presentation layer of a module using Spring MVC.
• Develop REST web services using Spring REST and Spring Boot.
• Interpret Microservices Design Principles, and Cloud computing basics.
• Ensure application of code repository maintenance tool GIT.
• Demonstrate sound knowledge and experience in Object Oriented Programming.
