IMPORTANT NOTICE
AICF Registration: AICF Registration of the year 2025-2026 is
compulsory

AICF players Registration fee for the year 2025-2026 has to be


paid before the start of the tournament. It will be accepted
only through online mode. For renewing AICF registration of
existing players, please visit https://prs.aicf.in/
For new AICF registration of players please visit
https://prs.aicf.in/new-register. All players having active AICF
2025-2026 registration can participate in this tournament

No on the spot entries will be accepted. No request towards


entry waiver/refund will be entertained. Entry fees once paid
will not be refunded. Entry can be closed at any given point of
time without any notice. Entry will be accepted on first come
first serve basis.

assigning any reason. Organising committee is not responsible
for any discomfort or any other problems like transportation

Tournament (Information & Rules): RAPID
1. Arrival on: 24th May 2025 at 8:30 AM

2. Reporting time: 24th May 2025 at 8:45 AM

3. Total number of Rounds: 9 (Rapid)

4. Eligibility: All the Indian Players (Rated/ Unrated,


Professional/Amateur) are eligible to participate. Other than
Indian National, players are required to have a valid FIDE ID
under their respective country or licensed FIDE ID under FIDE
Flag before the registration of the tournament. Organizers
have the right to accept or reject any entry without assigning
any reason. The tournament is open for all players from
different parts of the world. No Age limit.
5. System of play: Tournament will be conducted as per the
latest FIDE laws of chess with Swiss Manager.
6. Time Control: 15 Minutes + 5 Seconds increment from 1st
move.
7. AICF Registration: All the Indian participants should be
registered with AICF for the year 2025-26. Online AICF
Registration is available in the website www.aicf.in. Before
registering for the tournament, player must be registered with
AICF.

8. Discipline: Any player/ parent who disrupts the decorum of


the tournament will face exclusion from the tournament.
Tournament (Information & Rules): BLITZ
1. Arrival on: 25th May 2025 at 12 Noon
2. Reporting time: 25th May 2025 at 12:45 PM
3. Total number of Rounds: 9 (Blitz)
4. Eligibility: All the Indian Players (Rated/ Unrated,
Professional/Amateur) are eligible to participate. Other than
Indian National, players are required to have a valid FIDE ID
under their respective country or licensed FIDE ID under FIDE
Flag before the registration of the tournament. Organizer has
the right to accept or reject any entry without assigning any
reason. The tournament is open for all players from different
parts of the world. No Age limit.

Protest:
Protest, if any, against the decision of the Chief Arbiter shall
be made in writing with a protest fee of Rs. 2000/- within 15
minutes of the occurrence of the incident. Protest fee will be
refunded if the protest is upheld if not then the protest fee
shall be forfeited by the organizer. The decision of the appeal
committee on all protests shall be final and binding on all
participants.

Appeal Committee:
A 5-member appeal committee (including 2 reserve) shall be
formed before the start of the tournament.
Electronic Devices:
All types of electronic devices/wrist watches/mobiles will not
be allowed in the playing arena.

Tie Breaks:
In case of a tie, the latest FIDE rules shall come into effect.

* The greatest number of wins including forfeits
* Number of wins with Black pieces
Withdrawals:
A player may withdraw at any stage of the tournament, after
informing the Chief Arbiter in writing.

Prizes:
One player will be given one (higher) prize only.

Age Prizes:
Age category players are eligible for prizes in their respective own
age category only and not for higher age category prizes. For the
category prize the organizer may ask the players for their date of
birth proof and by registering for the tournament players are
abide to present the Date of Birth Proof for the given
tournament.

Prize Money:
Prize money will not be shared. One player will get one higher
prize money only. Indian Income Tax Act and rules including TDS
existing rule will be applicable.

Prize Money Transfer:


All prize money winners will be requested to submit/send their
cancelled bank cheque along with prescribed format to minimise
any possible errors during prize money transfer. All prize money
will be transferred in 7 to 20 working days

Default Time (Walk Over Time):


Default time for arriving to the chess board is entire time in clock
for both events.
