ABSTRACT
A well-written abstract serves multiple purposes:
● an abstract lets readers get the gist or essence of your paper or article quickly, in
order to decide whether to read the full paper;
● an abstract prepares readers to follow the detailed information, analyses, and
arguments in your full paper;
● and, later, an abstract helps readers remember key points from your paper.
1. the context or background information for your research; the general topic under
study; the specific topic of your research
2. the central questions or statement of the problem your research addresses
3. what’s already known about this question, what previous research has done or
shown
4. the main reason(s), the exigency, the rationale, the goals for your research—
Why is it important to address these questions? Are you, for example, examining
a new topic? Why is that topic worth examining? Are you filling a gap in previous
research? Applying new methods to take a fresh look at existing ideas or data?
Resolving a dispute within the literature in your field? . . .
5. your research and/or analytical methods
6. your main findings, results, or arguments
7. the significance or implications of your findings or arguments.

ABSTRACT
As social media devours the world, a lot of people do not appreciate its beauty.
People perceive it as a problem when it has the potential to make lives much simpler. The
advantages of social media have changed how people live, and the school, the
educational system, and the learning of students are some of the areas most impacted by
this change. As students use this to communicate, to give and receive information, and to
explore interesting ventures of social media, there is a need to acknowledge it.
Studies from Lev Vygotsky’s Collaborative Learning Theory and George Siemen
and Stephen Downes’s Connectivism Theory prove the need of connection of people,
especially to students to also learn within themselves and to others. Many studies around
the world also found the positive effects of social media in many aspects of today’s
generation.
This study explained the beauty of so-called social media in reference to
communicating, acquiring information, and engaging in interesting explorations by the
students. Everyone must adapt to the way the world is changing in order to create a useful
platform for learning. The students were surveyed through a standardized questionnaire
from a previous study and the results showed that social media was a great tool for
students to utilize and was not harmful to them coupled with responsible use. This
suggests that schools should understand social media as an innovative way for students to
learn lessons. Schools should implement it, as this teaches learners to adapt to the new
way of doing tasks in this competitive world.

purposes especially for education. There are lots of perks of social media in
relation to the performance of the students. Many adults think social media
will be a distraction rather than a tool in the classroom. This has been found
plenty of information. Students use this for their connection to each other.
