Here’s the SSC CHSL 2025 – General Awareness (GK) syllabus with brief but complete explanations, and proper space between
chapters so you can memorize easily. This includes static GK + current affairs topics commonly asked in SSC exams:
Ancient – Includes Indus Valley Civilization, Vedic Period, Maurya and Gupta Empires. Important rulers: Ashoka, Chandragupta Maurya, Harsha.
Medieval – Delhi Sultanate (1206–1526), Mughal Empire (1526–1857). Famous rulers: Akbar, Babur, Shah Jahan, Aurangzeb.
Modern – British rule, Revolt of 1857, Indian National Movement, INC, Non-Cooperation, Civil Disobedience, Quit India Movement, and

Learn about:
Fundamental Rights – 6 rights given to citizens (like Right to Equality, Freedom, etc.).

Topics: GDP, Inflation, Budget, Banking (RBI), Taxes (Direct and Indirect), Economic reforms like LPG (Liberalisation, Privatisation, Globalisation).
5. General Science
Chemistry – Elements, compounds, acids and bases, periodic table, reactions, uses of metals and non-metals.
Biology – Human body systems, cells, diseases, vitamins, human and plant physiology, nutrition, and health.
6. Static GK
Important Days – Republic Day (26 Jan), Independence Day (15 Aug), Gandhi Jayanti (2 Oct), etc.
Books & Authors – Indian writers, famous novels, and exam-favorite books like Wings of Fire by APJ Abdul Kalam.
National Symbols – National Flag, Anthem, Emblem, Animal, Bird, Flower, etc.
Dances, Festivals, Culture – Bharatanatyam (Tamil Nadu), Bihu (Assam), Diwali, Holi, Eid.
Awards – Bharat Ratna, Padma Awards, Nobel Prize winners of India.
Capitals & Currencies – Of important countries like USA, UK, Russia, China, Japan.
Focus on:
Economy & Budget – Budget 2025 highlights, RBI updates, GDP data.
