Professional Experience
I possess twenty four years of experience in-depth for all types of techno-commercial knowledge of
textiles like weaving (hand loom, power loom, auto loom, air jet, water jet, knitting etc), processing
(dyeing, printing, washing & finishing) & all types of garment washing from development stage up to
finishing for all kinds of textile materials including solids, prints, yarn dyed, dobby, jacquards etc with
addition of lycra, lurex, zari, embroidery (chemical also) etc. in all kinds of Woven and Knitted fabrics
in Cottons, Linens, Silks, Polyester, Nylon, Chanderi, Wool, Acrylic, P/V, P/W, Corduroy, Denims &
its blends with lycra.
Have a minimum cost approach for all kinds of textile materials by using the dual sourcing of existing
raw material to meet target price. Follow all technical parameters during processing for physical as
well as chemical testing.
Having in-depth knowledge of various dyestuff (Reactive, Disperse, Vat, Acid etc), chemicals, textile
auxiliaries & their behavior on different kinds of textile materials made from natural fibers, man made
& various processes involved in finishing to them.
Co-ordinates with all like Vendor, Supplier, Processor, Production/factory unit, Accounts, Import,
PPC, Buyer etc for all fabric quality parameters/timely shipment.
With concept of First Right Time Quality and Best Negotiable Price, Best Quality & Timely
Delivery/Service with Compliance.
Processing of cotton and blends of polyester/cotton, cotton/nylon, cotton/lycra etc in both bottom
& shirting fabrics form.
Trouble shooting on Benninger Cold Pad Batch (Kusters Padder) with PLEVA Moisture
Regulating Unit, Benninger Thermosoling Rang with Kusters Padder, Bruckener Continuous
Dyeing Ranges, Benninger Open Width Washing Range, Monfrorst Stentersand Henriksen
Jiggers.
Working knowledge of Benninger Pretreatment Ranges, Chainless Mercersier & Osthoff Singeing

Shantoon, Boskey, Rayon, Crepe, Moss-crepe, Chanderi, Georgettes, Velveteen, Corduroy,
Chiffons, Chambray, Checks, Stripes, Shear Suckers in woven as well as Ribs, Pique,
Honeycombs, Sinker/Jersey, Interlock, Mélange in knits including Organic Fabric.
Preproduction development of various finishes like Silicon Softener, Enzyme, Easy Care, Teflon,

Fabrics (head-woven) from 8th Dec’2020 to 12th Oct’21. This is an old knits garment export
house with four production factories in Faridabad having their own dyeing/table printing units
and working with buyers like S. Oliver, Next, TK Maxx, Nordstrom etc.
BIBA APPARELS PVT. LTD: Worked with Biba Apparels Pvt. Ltd., Gurugram as Sr.
Manager – Fabrics from Nov’18 to Dec’20. This is a renowned Ethnic wear domestic brand
and looking after SKD, MNM, Kids & Night Wear divisions.
Wear Well India Pvt. Ltd.: Worked with Wear Well India Pvt. Ltd. as Sr. Manager – Fabrics
from Nov’16 to Oct’18. This is an old garment export house with three production factories in
New Delhi as well as Greater Noida. Working with buyers like M & S, Next, Baby Shop, River
Island, Zara in my account.
Paramount Products Pvt. Ltd.: Worked with Paramount Products Pvt. Ltd. as Sr. Manager
– Fabrics from July’14 to Oct’16. This is an old garment export house with five production
factories in New Delhi as well as Noida. Worked with many buyers like CV, River Island, New
Look, Sainsbury, Debenhams, Best Seller, Next, Miss Selfridge, Peacock, Cotton On, Wool
Worth, Mango etc.
Pearl Global Limited: Worked with Pearl Global Limited as Sr. Manager – Fabrics from
July’11 to June’14. This is a leading garment export house with different production factories
in Gurgaon / Chennai / Bangladesh / Indonesia / China and Fabric sourcing offices in China,

Job Responsibilities
Sourcing of yarns, greige, yarn dyed & mill made fabric from different places in India like South,
Amritsar, Mumbai, Ludhiana, Ahmedabad, Surat, Punjab, Bhiwandi, Panipat, Varanasi, Bhagalpur,
Bangalore, Calcutta etc.
Also sourcing of fabrics from overseas places like H K, China, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Dubai, Korea,
Taiwan etc to get the fabrics (Woven & Knits) at most competitive price for US, UK etc markets.
All types of processing (dyeing & printing) including embroidery from different places like Faridabad,
Noida, Gurgaon, Panipat, Ghaziabad, Jodhpur, Ahmedabad, Surat, Mumbai, Jaipur etc.
New product developments & sampling for all respective seasons as per the buyer’s requirements.
Shade/color matching under the buyer specific primary & secondary light sourcing using Data Color
Matching (Spectrophotometer) for all shades to maintain the Delta E reading with reports.
Bulk lots approvals as per the approved lab-dip / strike-off / bit-loom / knit-down / yarn skeins with
minimum lots in all order in all types of shades.
Manage the fabric technical teams on day-to-day operational matters and planning/allocation of bulk
orders among the vendors/suppliers as per given TNA.
Follow-up to all fabric orders & ensure timely delivery with desired quality.
Co-ordination with suppliers, processors/mills, production units (factories), a/c, buyers & buying
houses and working closely with respective merchants as well as design team for all orders.
Collect fabric technical information regarding every fabric from mills as per our fabric specifications
norms and inform to designing, PD team, merchandising & garment technical/factories.
Maintain fabric quality from development through to bulk.
Source and evaluate new mills & new fabrics / processes to cater our needs.
All types of washing as well as finishes are used as per the buyer requirements.
Make commercial decisions on behalf of the division.
Co-ordinate with end customer to resolve any fabric, printing or garment dyeing concerns.
Conduct fabric pre-productions of most critical fabrics / styles.
Review fabric developments, highlight technical issues and ensure fabric is re-producible in bulk.
Proactive in identifying the production / pre-Production problems.
Assess fabric production problems and work with mills and garment factories to resolve them.
Carry out mill evaluations to assess supplier’s capabilities, ensure they meet requirements and where
required put forward improvements.
Analysis of lab test reports of fabric/garment and giving feedback to mill to achieve better results.
Making AQL of fabrics by J.C. Penney 4-point inspection system with grouping technique & blankets.
Guidance to the supplier to use Branded Dyes & Chemicals to achieve proper result.
Purchase & processing orders are generated from APPS, ERP & SAP systems.
Shipping follow up and handling all store functioning like documentation, fabric receive/issue, etc.
Travel locally & domestically regularly and internationally, if required for orders follow-up.
Create, manage and maintain a fabric library for new developments.
Ability to work under pressure.
Attending trade shows, exhibitions, seminars & exploring and understand new technologies.
Having good leadership skills and being able to lead & guide a team.
Co-ordination with INTERTEK, SGS, TUV & BV for third party assurance testing and inspection for
nominated business.
