BY CONDUCTING THE END-TO-END USER RESEARCH.

AIM:

To develop an interface for a bus ticket booking application by conducting the end-to-
end user research.

PROCEDURE:

1. Define Research Goals

Understand user needs and pain points in booking bus tickets.

2. Identify Target User

Define personas (frequent travellers, students) based on age, travel habits and challenges.

3. User Surveys & Interviews

Conduct surveys to gather data on user preferences and interfaces.

4. Analyse Competitors

Study existing apps to identify useful features and common issues.

5. Create User Personas

Develop personas summarizing typical users, their goals.

6. Map User Journey

Outline steps in the booking process: search, select, book and pay and manage bookings.

7. Design Wire Frames

Create low-fidelity wireframes for key screens (home, search, booking, payment) focusing on
simplicity.

8. Prototype & Test


Develop a high-fidelity prototype in Figma & test it with real users.

9. Gather Feedback

Use feedback to refine the design, improving navigation, button placement etc...

10. Finalize & Document

Create a UI style guide and finalize the design in Figma for development.
