Abstract
Farm-Connect refers to the direct sale of agricultural products from farmers to
buyers at or near the place of production, eliminating intermediaries in the supply
chain. This approach ensures that farmers receive better prices for their produce
while offering buyers fresher goods at competitive rates. Farm-Connect sales have
significant benefits, including improving farmers' profit margins, fostering
transparency in pricing, and encouraging sustainable practices by reducing the need
for extensive transportation.
The Farm-Connect model also holds potential in reducing food waste by ensuring
produce reaches consumers faster and fresher. Additionally, it empowers smallholder
farmers by giving them direct access to markets, boosting local economies, and
fostering a more resilient agricultural system.

Introduction
The Farm-Connect app is a digital platform that connects farmers directly to
consumers, suppliers, and other stakeholders in the agricultural ecosystem. This
innovative mobile app aims to improve efficiency, transparency, and profitability in
agricultural marketing. By providing a user-friendly interface, Farm-Connect
enables farmers to register and showcase their produce, list available crops with
prices, manage orders, and secure payments.
The app's primary goals are to enhance agricultural productivity, improve farmer
livelihoods, promote sustainable agriculture practices, and streamline agricultural
marketing. Farm-Connect targets smallholder, marginal, and commercial farmers, as
well as urban and rural consumers, suppliers, agricultural cooperatives, and
government agencies.
By bridging the gap between farmers and consumers, Farm-Connect has the
potential to revolutionize agricultural marketing, improving lives and livelihoods.

Problem Statement
"Many farmers struggle to find fair prices, connect with buyers, and get the right
information to improve their farming. This app is a platform designed to help farmers
sell their products directly to buyers, see real-time prices, and access resources to
grow better crops.
Farmers are struggling for transportation facilities to the right place and right time.
And facing malpractices by dealers and middle agents, which are affected to the
pricing.
By making these connections easier, this app aims to increase farmers' incomes and
support more sustainable farming. In many rural areas, transportation options are
limited, and available services can be expensive, poorly coordinated, or lack proper
storage conditions, which leads to delays, product spoilage, and profit loss.”
