1 This Question paper contains - five sections A, B, C, D and E. Each section is compulsory. However,

x-axis(00angle.)and north direction is along the positive Y axis (900 angles).Initially the
pointer is pointed towards North East direction .Pointer is deflected in a magnetic field
by some angle.On the basis of the above information answer the following questions.

(i) If pointer moves an angle of 1650 from its initial position in anticlockwise direction (2)
then find the value of cosine of angle made by pointer from east direction?

seven students . Davinci house master conducted a preliminary round and selected 12
students out of which 7 are boys and 5 are girls . Now she has to make a team of 7 students
from the selected 12 students. . Based on the above information answer the following
questions .
i) Find the number of ways she can select if the team contains exactly 3 girls? (2)
ii) Find the number of ways to arrange 3 girls and 4 boys if no two boys and girls will stand (1)
together?
iii)Find the number of ways if team contains at least 3 girls? (2)

36. Perimeter of a Triangle is the sum of all three sides . The three sides of a triangle are given
by (5𝑥 + 1)𝑐𝑚, (6𝑥 − 1)𝑐𝑚 𝑎𝑛𝑑 16 𝑐𝑚 . Based on this answer the following questions .

i) If the perimeter of the triangle is at least 38cm, then what is the minimum value of 𝑥? (2)
ii) If the perimeter of triangle is at most 82cm ,then what is the maximum value of 𝑥? (2)
iii) Find 𝑥 if sum of first two sides of a triangle is more than the third side (16cm) at (1)
least by 6cm
