1. This Question Paper has 5 Sections A, B, C, D, and E.
2. Section A has 20 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) carrying 1 mark each.
3. Section B has 5 Short Answer-I (SA-I) type questions carrying 2 marks each.
4. Section C has 6 Short Answer-II (SA-II) type questions carrying 3 marks each.
5. Section D has 4 Long Answer (LA) type questions carrying 5 marks each.
6. Section E has 3 Case Based integrated units of assessment (4 marks each).

29. The sum of first three terms of a G.P. is 12 and their product is – 1. Find the
common ratio and the terms.

x cosθ – ysinθ = kcos2θ and xsecθ + y cosecθ = k, resp. Prove: p2 + 4q2 = k2

A group consists of 4 girls and 7 boys. In how many ways can a team of 5
members can be selected if the team has (i) No girl? (ii) At-least one boy and
one girl? (iii) At-least 3 girls?

35. 150 workers were engaged to finish a job in a certain no. of days. 4 workers
dropped out on second day, 4 more workers dropped out on 3rd day and so on.
It took 8 more days to finish the work. Find the number of days in which the
work was completed.

36. Vaibhav and Vyomesh are two students of class XIth in a school. The ages of
both students are represented by f and g real functions defined by:
f(x) = √ x+ 4 and g(x) = √ 16−x 2. Then, answer the following question which are
based on above ages.
(i) Find the domain of sum of both ages, i.e. (f + g)

reach the path whose equation is 6x – 7y + 8 = 0 in the least time.
Based on the above information, answer the following questions:
(i) Find the coordinates of the junction point.
(ii) Find equation of the path that he should follow to reach the path with the
equation 6x – 7y + 8 = 0.
