What is Digital Marketing

Also called Online Marketing, it is process of promoting a brand,


product or service over internet. It includes email marketing, electronic
customer relationship management and any promotional activities are
done via wireless media.

Sales vs Marketing
Sales –

Process – focus on sales process, how to interact with customers, how


to answer questions and provide relevant information.

Goals – Hitting sales goals or quota

Strategies – phone class, networking, promotional events

Prospectus – working with known prospectus

Process – Focus on explaining what the product or service is, how much
does it cost, who is most likely to be interest in it and where you can

SEO stands for “Search Engine Optimization.” In simple terms, it means
the process of improving your site to increase its visibility when people
search for products or services related to your business in Google, Bing,
and other search engines.

Difference Between SEO and Paid Advertising


The Key Difference between SEO and Paid advertising is that SEO
involves ‘organic’ ranking, which means you don’t have to pay for
anything.

PPC – Pay per click is an advertising formula where a


Business/Website Owner/Service provider only pay when
user actually click on your link.

CPM - CPM stands for cost per thousand impressions. It


is a formula that calculates the total ad spends per 1,000
impressions on a web page. To calculate CPM, you simply
divide the ad spend by the number of impressions
multiplied by thousand. The CPM formula is
(CPM = Ad spend / impressions * 1,000)
CPA – CPA stands for cost per Acquisition. It is the
average amount you have been charges for a conversion
from you ad. Average cost of CPA is calculated by dividing
cost of conversions with total number of conversions.
