Course Outline For: Physics 4th Form SEM II (February - June 2025)

Facilitator: Mr. Fausto Burgos Jr. Class: 4-3


Class Time: 50 minutes
Academic Advising Time: .3:30-4:30 Tuesdays and Thursdays
Required Text: Physics for CSEC, John Avison, David Henry.
Types of Test Items

SEMESTER GRADE 80% of daily accumulated grades + 20% of EST grade

Course Goal:
This course is aimed at producing a student who is scientifically literate and who has the ability to apply
scientific concepts and principles to everyday situations. For the student to do so, he or she must be willing to
work cooperatively with others and persist with a task to a logical conclusion. Additionally, this course is gear
towards producing a student who appreciates the necessity to preserve the natural environment.

Instructional Methods: Group work and discussion, laboratory activities and reports, models and analogies, real-world
applications, problem solving exercises, technology integration, research projects, etc.

General Expectations:
 Engage in class activities, discussions, and group work to enhance your learning experience.
 Be punctual to sessions and
 Show respect towards yourself, peers and instructors.
 Listen attentively, analyze and value diverse opinions.
 Share your thoughts and ideas constructively during class discussions and group projects
 Complete & submit all assessments by the specified deadlines to demonstrate your understanding of the material.
 Don't hesitate to reach out to the teacher for support or guidance whenever necessary.
