Welcome to Holiday Assignment for Class 10! This break is a great
opportunity to reinforce your learning, explore new concepts, and
develop your skills across various subjects. The assignments are
designed to be engaging, challenging, and fun. Make the most of your
holiday and come back refreshed and ready for new academic
challenges!
SUBJECT

1. Create an E-book Journal and include the following:


a. Book review of any two books, you have recently read.
b. Theme, summary and basic idea of the following chapters (in 50 to
60 words):
i. Two Gentlemen of Verona
ii. Mrs Packletide’s Tiger
iii.The Frog and the Nightingale
iv. Not Marbles ,Nor the Gilded Monuments
v. Ozymandias
c. Mind maps of any four chapters (use keywords)

2. Design a creative and illustrative Lap book on any two characters


from your textbook Include the characteristics, similarities,
differences, behaviour, incidents, and importance of the characters in
the story/ Poem.
3. Taking inspiration from the famous chronicle ‘Diary of a Young
Girl’ maintain a personal diary and write about at least five personal
reflections and musings on any of the topics of your interest.

(a) To find focal length of concave mirror.
(b) To find focal length of convex lens.
(c) Tracing the path of a ray of light passing through a rectangular
glass slab.
(d) Studying the dependence of potential difference (V) across a
resistor on the current (I) passing through it and determine its
resistance.
