Task
Most organisations and businesses benefit from having a website. The
internet is an excellent way of advertising goods and services, many
websites even allow customers to order goods online. It’s also an excellent
means of communication.
As a website designer and developer, you have been
approached by the local community to create a website that focuses on the UN
Sustainable Development Goa, connects it to the local context and serves as a
tool for information advocacy.
Statement of Inquiry:
Communities can work together to study the impact of
globalisation and ensure responsible and sustainable use of
resources.
Key Concept : Communication
Related Concepts: Resources, Sustainability
Global Context: Globalisation and Sustainability

each strand, for each of the Criteria along with the Start/Finish dates
Design Cycle
A1.2. Identify inquiry questions, (some examples are provided). You must
identify additional questions.
What do you want to create?
I want to create a website on the SGD goals which is goal number 7.
How are you going to learn all the required software required to design the
website?
Canva, notepad
Task A2. Identify and prioritize primary and secondary research needed to
develop a solution to the problem.
A2. 1. Identify what you have to research:
• Make a plan for your research, choose about 6 sources total and have at
least 2-3 Primary sources
• Make an organised table for the prioritisation of your sources, such as the
one below:
•
You do not have to show evidence of the research in the report itself, but it
has to be placed in the Appendix, which will be explored later on.
• For displaying the primary and secondary research, you can use a table as
a summary of the research you have conducted. The table should show
the research topic, the type of source used, the type of research and the
reason for the research.
• You must cite all the sources you have used in an appropriate format. It is
advised that you use the CMOS format.

Task A4. Writing a Design Brief By now, you have collected a great deal of data
that requires some analysis and summary in order to be useful and inform your
solution. You have to convert all the research you have done so far into a Design
Brief.

• Conclusion
My task will be to create a website on the SDG goal 7 (Affordable and clean
energy)
For this I first am going to Research using the UN sdg goal 7 website which is by
the indian government after which i will start making my website which is going to
be 5-6 pages as i want to put as much information as i can, after this i will go
present the website to pyp-5 in my school.

Task B2: Include rough drafts of work done. Take feedback from the target
audience/peer/adult/designer artiste to justify whether the choice of layout and
design communicate the information to the user and are aesthetically appealing.
Include screenshots of the rough draft of the homepage and the other two
pages. Minimum three drafts of the homepage, first page and second page.

Task B 4: develop accurate and detailed planning drawings/diagrams and outline
requirements for the creation of the chosen solution

Task C4: Final product. Discuss the changes made while creating the solution.
• Begin with listing the major changes that you made to the plan, the plans
that did not concern time, but the actual solution itself. (for example, if you
were planning to make a laptop application but changed it mid-way to a
mobile-only application.). Also, mention the reason why you made this
change, and how much time it cost you by making it.
• Next mention minor changes to the plan. The changes in the time that it
took you to execute a step in the plan or the date that you did it. For these,
you can simply list how much longer or shorter it took you to do the step,
why it did, and how it affected the solution overall.
Criterion D: Evaluating
Task D1: Outline a few testing methods to measure the success of the project.
This strand prompts you to test your success through different methods.
• The easiest methods are by designing surveys that ask the target
audience if different success aspects were met by your solution. This can
be done through Google Forms and shown in a table like the one below:
Task D3: What have you learned about your performance and how would you
improve your performance on the next project? (Be specific)
Task D4: Personalized ATL Reflection Table
In this table you will record meaningful learning experiences that you
underwent in your classes. Write details and examples of your learning
experience.
