INTRODUCTION TO THE PROJECT

Title: E-commerce Website

Brief write-up of project

An E-Commerce website which will allow the merchant to advertise and sell
their goods on the internet. This will enable the merchant to access the vast user
database on the world wide web

CLIENT IDENTIFICATION AND RECOGNITIVE OF NEED

MANAGEMENT

The business-to-consumer aspect of product commerce (e-

commerce) is the most visible business use of the World Wide Web.
The primary goal of an e-commerce site is to sell goods online.

This project deals with developing an e-commerce website for Online

Product Sale. It provides the user with a catalog of different product
available for purchase in the store. In order to facilitate online
purchase a FlipDeals is provided to the user.

The system is implemented using a 3-Der approach, with a backend

database, a middle Der of MicrosoH Internet InformaDon Services
(IIS) and PHP, and a web browser as the front end client. In order to
develop an e-commerce website, a number of Technologies must be
studied and understood.

These include mulD-Dered architecture, server and client side

scripDng techniques, implementaDon technologies such as
PHP(OOP), JQUERY, BOOTSTRAP, HTML5, relaDonal databases (such
as MySQLi). This is a project with the objec ve to develop a basic
website where a consumer is provided with a shopping cart
applica on and also to know about the technologies used to develop
such an applica on. This document will discuss each of the
underlying technologies to create and implement an e-commerce
website.

RECOGNITION & KNOWLEDGE OF RELEVENT

CONTEMPORARY ISSUES

According to us , No issue will be occurring as we are very much confident

about our execution but the images that we will use takes much time to make
and the logos and other things.

REVIEW

All projects are feasible given unlimited resources and infinite

time! Unfortunately, the development of computer based
system is more likely to be plagued by a scarcity of resources
and difficult delivery dates. It is both necessary and prudent to
evaluate the feasibility of the project at the earliest possible
time. Months or years of effort, Money loss and untold
professional embarrassment can be averted I few better
understand the project at its study time. This type of study
determines if an application can and should be developed.
Once it has been determining that, application is feasible.
After that analyst can go ahead and prepares the project
specification, which finalizes project requirements. Feasibility
studies are undertaken within tight time constraints.

research on online testing in terms of the challenges that may

be encountered. Among the challenges mentioned was the
problem of identifying students who use the system as well as
security risks, skills in answering different questions
among students, problems in maintenance and
evaluation. adapted the online examination system using a
mode known as "B/W Mode". Web server is used to control
the tests and provide information to students. The main goal
of the study is to reduce the use of paper and develop a test
system that is safe to use. Among the features utilized is only
allow the system to be used after receiving the application
from student to use it

REVIEW OF PREVIOUS SOLUTION OR RELATED

MATERIALS EXTENT AND RELEVANCE OF THE
MATERIALS AND REVIEWED TO THE PROJECT
The objec ve of this project is to develop a general purpose e-
commerce store where any kind of product can be bought from the
comfort of home through the Internet.

An online store is a virtual store on the Internet where customers can

browse the catalog and select products of interest. The selected
items may be collected in a shopping cart. At checkout me, the
items in the shopping cart will be presented as an order. At
that me, more informa on will be needed to complete the
transac on. Usually, the customer will be asked to ll or select a
billing address, a shipping address, a shipping op on, and
payment informa on .

SUMMARY OF HOW REVIEWED LITERATURE

HELPED IN PROBLEM DEFINING PROBLEM
STATEMENT

The Internet has become a major resource in modern business, thus

electronic shopping has gained signi cance not only from the
entrepreneur’s but also from the customer’s point of view. For the
entrepreneur, electronic shopping generates new business
opportuni es and for the customer, it makes compara ve shopping
possible.

As per a survey, most consumers of online stores are impulsive and

usually make a decision to stay on a site within the rst few seconds.

“Website design is like a shop interior. If the shop looks poor or like
hundreds of other shops the customer is most likely to skip to the
other site.

Hence we have designed the project to provide the user with easy
naviga on, retrieval of data and necessary feedback as much as
possible. In this project, the user is provided with an e-commerce
web site that can be used to buy all types products online.

In this project the ‘add to cart’ func onality made by raw PHP
without using any plugin and payment system is not included
properly in this project because to complete payment system we
require a par cular payment gateway.

CONSTRAINTS IDENTIFICATION

To design and implement this project we plan that the

project is easy to access to everyone. When the project
is run, there are two different kind of login. As a
customer who is there to shop and the other is as admin,
where he can access to user data. The customer can add
there product to wishlist and to to cart after creating
there account. From there they can order there product.
As a admin, he will be able to access the data of all
customers and can add/remove the product in the
website.

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

• The system helps in buying of goods and products online by

choosing the listed products from website (E-Commerce site).
ti
ti
• The system helps Incuba on cell of the college for selling
their products online.
• Vendor can also sell their goods and products online even it is
