Pre-Contract Information
You will have received information about the University, including its facilities and its policies and procedures,
and about the Programme of study you have applied for before and during the application process. This might
be in the form of our website, a hard copy prospectus or Programme guide, or might be information passed to
you at an Open Day or Experience Day. We make every effort to ensure that information provided to you prior to
you receiving your offer is fair and accurate at the time of publication. However, it is prepared well in advance of
the academic session to which it applies and therefore this information is issued for the general guidance of
students looking to study at the University of Bradford rather than being definitive. Paragraphs 22-27 inclusive
of the Student Contract referred to below explains why we might make changes and what we will do to inform
you of those changes. Paragraphs 65-68 inclusive explains how the University collects and processes your
personal data and where this information is shared.

The Student Contract

When you accept an offer of a place on a University of Bradford programme (either by accepting us via UCAS as
your firm or insurance choice or by confirming directly with the University) you are entering into a contractual
relationship with us. It is important that you understand the nature of this contractual relationship and what you
are agreeing to by entering into it.
The University has a set of terms and conditions for all students accepting an offer to study on a course here at
Bradford. This is called The Student Contract .
This contract, and supporting appendices, set out the terms and conditions which apply when you accept an
offer of a place on a programme of study at the University of Bradford.
These terms and conditions represent an agreement between you, our student, and the University.
If you have any questions or concerns about our terms and conditions, you can contact us by email at:
admissionsedt@bradford.ac.uk before accepting your offer. If you require this information in an alternative
format please contact marketing@bradford.ac.uk.

Accepting our offer of a place

When you have decided whether you want to accept or decline this offer, please go the 'my Application' page of
your Applicant Portal (login details were sent by email when you first applied), view the offer in the 'Applications'
section, and click the 'Respond to Offer' button to select your response.
If you accept this offer of a place on a Bradford programme a contract will be made between you and the
University of Bradford. Once you have accepted the offer you have 14 days in which you can change your mind.
If you do change your mind, you will need to contact us in writing by emailing admissionsedt@bradford.ac.uk.
After the 14 day period, it may be possible to change your response to this offer, but you will need to contact us
to arrange this.

Bradford you will need to provide us with evidence that you have a valid visa to study in the UK. If you need to
apply for a student visa you will need a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS).
The Visa Support Team at the University of Bradford will contact you about your CAS application after you have
made your advanced payment. It is your responsibility to check what the pre-CAS requirements are on our
website and meet the criteria within the specified deadlines. Failure to do so could lead to you not getting a CAS.

www.gov.uk/student-visa.
