submitted by the SIG Head who conducted the

should be completed by 27 rd Oct 2024 by the
coordinators and presented to the Convenor
and the Faculty Advisor

5. Engineers : Presence of the club activity

1. Summer break
(a) Have a 3 page report and update it in the
website by the first month of the reopening
of the Odd Sem
(b) Online Event : This can be an online event
where the NITK alumini can be invited for
talk.

2. Winter break
(a) Document the event in a 3 page report and
update in the website

The duties of the Convenor and Core members
• Documenting the activities of ISTE Club
• Make a report
❖on the Activities carried out in 3 months
❖on works carried out in the coming Activities for next 3 months
Updating the ISTE Website regularly
• The list of activities carried out by each member of the club in an academic
year
• Monitor and document the recruitment of new members in each SIG

The first Report ( Sept-Oct-Nov) is expected by mid of December

The duties of the SIG Heads
• Documenting the activities conducted by the SIG Heads which also
includes the recruitment of new members
• Make a report of the activities done by the SIG
❖on the Activities carried out in 3 months
❖on works carried out coming Activities for next 3 months
• Updating the ISTE Website regularly
• The list of activities carried out by each member of the SIG of the club
in an academic year. This fill should submitted to the Convenor

• The selection of the convenor and committee members for 2025 will be supervised by the
Faculty Advisor
• The list of Candidates for various positions should be provided to the faculty advisor by end
of January 2025 OR 3 weeks before date of interview of candidates
• One 2nd and 3rd Representative for each SIG

3. any technical activity done eg Internship
4. expertise in any engineering domain eg software tools
: Non-technical information

▪ Videos with current SIG heads
▪ Pictures of various events conducted ( 2 technical, 2 non-technical, 1 group
picture) should be highlighted in the home page)
▪ One main Blog Link
▪ Link for Major event like transcend, knowledge exchange etc with detail

• Each SIG contributing 2 pages
• Non-Technical : 4-5 pages : creative contribution from the members like drawing,
photographs, short writings
• The first issue of the Newsletter should be launched by the Director during the
Transcend 2025
