analysis derived a formula for the period of oscillation

4. a) A particle moving in a straight line with uniform deceleration has a

ii. time taken to cover PQ,
iii. time taken to cover PR.

5. Show that for a uniformly acceleration motion, v 2 =u2 + 2as, where the
symbols have their usual meanings
